〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は通称ダブルコンベア成形機に於いて硬
質基材とシート材間に合成樹脂発泡体原料が吐出
され、この原料の反応発泡によりこれら構成材を
一体に接着した複合板を連続的に、かつ側端面を
美しく形成しうる複合板製造装置に関するもので

ブルコンベア成形機が最適である。しかしなが
ら、この種の薄版状の物品を面材と共に上、下型
コンベアからなるダブルコンベア成形機に挟圧送
入する場合、長手方向の両側端面の成形加工は困
難であつた。また、これら両側端面を連続成形す
る装置は、特開昭54−127961号公報に示すような
ものがあるが、この装置において製造した複合板
の側端面は、仕上りが美観上が好ましくなく、歩
留りの低下、品質の低下が生起された。

るものである。

以下に、本発明に係る複合板製造装置の一実施
例について第1図〜第6図を用いて詳細に説明す
る。1は複合板製造装置(以下、単に製造装置と
いう)であり、ダブルコンベア成形機2(以下、
単にダブルコンベアという)、側端面成形部3、
側端面仕上げ部9からなるものである。さらに詳
説すると、ダブルコンベア2は、上型コンベア2
a、下型コンベア2bからなり、化粧材A、芯材
B、裏面材Cからなる第3図に示すような複合板
Dを成形、硬化、接着させるものである。側端面
成形部3は、ダブルコンベア2の両サイドに設け
るものであり、側端面成形帯4を無端状に架設
し、上、下型コンベア2a,2bと同調的に走行
し得るものである。側端面成形帯4は、シリコン
ゴム系、フツ素ゴム系、あるいは布ベルトなどの
材質であり、特に強度を要求される場合は、ピア
ノ線その他コード類で補強されたものを用いるこ
とができ、抗張力の高いベルト状のものである。
また、芯材Bが接着性のある材質の場合は、特に
離型性のよい材質であることが好ましい。その側
端面成形帯4は支持部5により張架され、必要に
応じて駆動がかけられるものである。7,8はガ
イド機構であり、固定体6に取り付け、側端面成
形帯4および上、下型コンベア2a,2bにより
形成される成型間隙(製造の幅)を制御し芯材B
の洩れを防止するためのものであり、常時内向常
圧せしめるものである。側端面成形帯4の形状
は、第6図a〜dに示すように形成することも可
能であり、後記する側端面仕上げ部9により加工
できるように、複合板Dに突出部D1を設け、略
L字状断面形状にするものである。その寸法は、
第3図〜第5図に示すように、複合板Dの厚さを
H、化粧材Aの厚さをH1、側端面成形帯4の高
さをh、突出片4aの高さをh1、幅をW1、突出
部D1の幅をW2とすると、H=h、H1=h1、W1
=W2となるように形成するものである。なお、
化粧材Aと接する端面4bには、パツキング材を
植設し、化粧材A表面への芯材Bの洩れを防止す
ることも可能である。側端面仕上げ9は、ダブル
コンベア2により成形、硬化して送出される複合
板Dの端面仕上げをするものであり、回転刃、カ
ツター刃などからなる仕上げ素子10により複合
板Dの突出部D1を切り取り加工することにより、
複合板Dの側端面D2を、化粧材Aと面一な美し
い外観に仕上げるものである。

上、下型コンベア間に介在している側端面成形帯
を弾力下で押圧するガイド機構とから構成したこ
とを特徴とする複合板製造装置。1.
