The resin raw material for the foam layer is supplied onto a hard surface material consisting of a metal plate, a hard synthetic resin plate, 2 asbestos cement plates, etc., and is sent to a mold formed between endless mold members arranged vertically facing each other. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION It is well known to manufacture plate-shaped composite materials suitable for external walls, interior linings, roofs, etc. of buildings by forming a foam layer of a predetermined thickness therein.

In this case, if a relatively thin flat composite material is manufactured by constructing a mold member that also serves as a conveyor using an endless band made of essentially one flat plate of rubber, synthetic resin, cloth, or metal, the resin raw material will foam. When expanding, since both the upper and lower surfaces are restrained by mold members, there is a strong tendency to be pushed laterally, causing one foam layer to expand and protrude irregularly from the sides of the composite material.

In order to eliminate this inconvenience and to obtain a homogeneously foamed product, it is common practice to place endless restraining members on both left and right sides and to perform foaming in a mold with the surrounding four sides closed.

In the former configuration, the hard surface material must be fed between the holding members fixed at intervals approximately equal to the width of the hard surface material, and the surface materials cut in advance to a predetermined product length must be successively and accurately positioned. It is extremely difficult to feed the holding member while the holding member is in contact with the holding member, resulting in the inconvenience that the leading edge may strike the holding member, making it impossible to feed the holding member.

In the latter configuration, the left and right holding members face each other in front of the mold with an interval wider than the predetermined interval, and by gradually narrowing the gap toward the mold, it is possible to prevent the surface material from hitting the holding members and stagnation. However, when the restraining member overlaps the lower mold member, the surface material may be caught.

In this case, the presser member is placed on at least one of the upper and lower mold members without being fixed, and by forming a medium-high drum that inverts the mold member before and after the mold, the presser member wrapped around the medium-high drum is By utilizing the property that the members are gathered toward the large diameter portion of the drum, the hard surface material can be smoothly fed into the mold and both sides can be closed.

The drum 6.7 on which the restraining members 3, 4 are wound is formed in the shape of a medium-high spindle, and the front and rear guide rollers 10° 11 roll the restraining members 3, 4 from the exit of the mold 5 at an interval larger than the width of the surface material A. A support mechanism 12 is disposed so as to return to the inlet, and further supports the two restraining members 3 and 4 from the outside in the mold 5 to prevent them from being extruded by the foaming pressure of the raw resin.

In this embodiment configured in this way, a hard surface material A of a predetermined length is continuously placed one by one on the upper surface of the lower mold member 2 by a supply device 11 consisting of a roller conveyor, and a foam layer B is formed in the first step. After the liquid resin raw material to be prepared is supplied onto the surface material A from the feeder 18, it is fed into the mold 5 together with the flexible back material C, which is fed along the upper mold member 1. 4 is wound around a medium-high drum 6 behind the mold 5, and when it is reversed and headed toward the mold 5, it is brought toward the center of the large diameter drum, narrowing the interval, and tightly contacting both sides of the surface material A, forming the mold. It moves in the same direction at the same speed as members 1 and 2.

In other words, the holding members 3 and 4 are placed on the mold 5 at an interval wider than the width of the surface material A.
The surface material A is wrapped around the drum 6 on the inlet side and gradually narrows the gap between them, and the drum 7 on the outlet side is also formed with a medium height and works to narrow the gap between the pressers 3 and 4. The punch or mold members 1, 2 and the holding member 3.4
The resin raw material is fed into the mold 5 without being caught and stagnated between the two, and after the resin raw material has finished foaming and expanding, it is sent out from the mold 5.

As mentioned above, the present design consists of placing mold members consisting of endless bands made of essentially one flat plate on the top and bottom, and placing restraining members on both sides between them, thereby closing the four sides. In a composite material manufacturing device that shapes a mold and creates a foam layer therein, the drum for inverting the mold member is formed with a medium height and is wrapped around a restraining member made of an endless band. move on the drum in such a way that the distance between them is narrowed before and after the mold, and as a result, the surface material is fed toward the mold without being stagnated while being corrected to a predetermined path by the restraining member that gradually narrows the distance between them. Since the holding member is overlaid on the mold member and inverted, there is no problem of the surface material being sandwiched between them.

For this reason, it is not only possible to continuously supply a predetermined length of surface material with almost no gaps and to continuously manufacture composite materials, but also the holding member has front and rear drums that are formed with a middle height, so that the front and rear drums are always in contact with the mold. Since they are brought close to each other, the support mechanism for preventing outward curvature can be simplified or omitted, and furthermore, there is no need for a special device for narrowing the restraining members to the required spacing. It is something that you have.
