Abstract

PURPOSE:To install a bearing or the like to a molded product at an accurate position without after processing by setting an insert material removably on outer face of a vacuum molding die and vacuum molding with part of said insert material buried in the molded product. CONSTITUTION:A head 4b is placed in a retaining channel 3 with a base 4a of an insert material 4 such as a bearing or the like projecting from between retaining projecting sections 2, 2. A resin sheet 5 is clamped with clamp frames 15 and 16 and heated up with a heater 17. the inside of a chamber 14 is pressurized and the resin sheet 5 is swelled and preoriented. The surface of a vacuum installing die 1 is made in a state of negative pressure, and the resin sheet 5 is sucked and adhered closely to the surface of the vacuum molding die 1. The base 4a of insert material 4 is inserted into a molded product 6 molded on the outer face of the vacuum molding die 1. The molded product 6 is cooled, solidified and released out of the vacuum molding die 1.

[Background Art 1] Molding of resin containers and the like is generally performed by vacuum forming for the sake of productivity and downsizing of manufacturing equipment. However, when attaching a bearing 10 or the like to the molded product 6, as shown in FIG. It is necessary to fix the molded product 6 by vacuum forming, welding, gluing, etc., which increases the number of post-processing steps such as drilling holes and installing the bearing 10 after vacuum forming the molded product 6. There is also the problem that the accuracy of the mounting position of the bearing 10 and the like deteriorates due to the positional accuracy of the hole drilling process.

[Disclosure of the Invention J] However, the vacuum forming method according to the present invention includes a vacuum forming mold 1
The insert material 4 is removably set on the outer surface of the vacuum forming mold 1, and the heat-softened resin sheet 5 is suctioned and adhered to the outer surface of the vacuum forming mold 1, so that a part of the insert material 4 is embedded in the molded product 6. The molded product 6 is then vacuum-formed, and then the molded product 6 is released from the vacuum-forming mold 1, and the insert material 4, which is partially embedded in the molded product 6, is released from the vacuum-formed mold 1. The above object is achieved by making it possible to insert and attach an insert material 4 such as a bearing into a molded product 6 at the same time as vacuum forming. .

At this time, the insert material 4 is set by inserting the neck portion 4b of the insert material 4 into the holding groove 3 so that the base portion 4a to be inserted into the molded product 6 protrudes from between the holding protrusions 2, 2, and As shown in FIG. 1(a), a resin sheet 5 (a plate-like material may be used) is placed between the clamp frames 15 and 16 provided all around the inner periphery of the upper end of the chamber 14.
By clamping the peripheral end portion of the resin sheet 5 and attaching the resin sheet 5, the upper opening of the chamber 14 is closed and the inside of the chamber 14 is sealed. After the resin sheet 5 is clamped and set by the clamp frames 15 and 16 in this manner, the resin sheet 5 is heated by the heater 17. The resin sheet 5 is made of thermoplastic resin, and is softened by heating with a heater 17. As shown in FIG. 14 is pressurized, and the resin sheet 5 is inflated and pre-stretched using this air pressure. Then, the vacuum molding mold 1 is raised and pushed up into the pre-stretched resin sheet 5, and the vacuum pump connected to the suction pipe 13 is activated to create a negative pressure state on the surface of the vacuum molding mold 1, as shown in FIG. As shown in (c), the resin sheet 5 is brought into close contact with the surface of the vacuum forming mold 1 by suction while being deformed along the surface shape of the vacuum forming mold 1.

Vacuum forming is carried out in this manner. At this time, the resin sheet 5 is deformed so as to mainly attach to the portion of the insert material 4 that protrudes from between the holding protrusions 2. The insert material 4 is then inserted into the vacuum forming mold. Molded product 6 molded on the outer surface of 1
The base portion 4a will be inserted inside. After performing vacuum forming in this manner, the molded product 6 is cooled and solidified, the vacuum mold 1 is lowered, and the molded product 6 is released from the vacuum mold 1 as shown in FIG. 1(d). let At this time, the insert material 4 has its base f164a inserted into the molded product 6, and when the molded product 6 is released from the vacuum forming mold 1, it is simultaneously pulled out from the end of the holder W3 that opens in the mold release direction. I'm going to go out. After the mold release is finished, the clamp frames i 5, 16 are opened to take out the molded product 6, and the molding is repeated again by returning to the state shown in #1 (a).

Simultaneously with vacuum forming as described above, the insert material 4 is inserted with the base 4a embedded in the molded product 6 and the head 4b, which will become the main body of the bearing, protruded from the molded product 6, as shown in FIG. It can be attached to the molded product 6. Therefore, there is no need for post-processing such as drilling holes in the molded product 6 when attaching the insert material 4, such as a shipping support, to the molded product 6. In FIG. 5, reference numeral 18 indicates a lip for preventing removal. The insert material 4 is attached to the molded product 6 at the vacuum forming mold 1 for molding the molded product 6.
This is determined by the position of the retaining groove 3 formed in the base 4a, so there is no risk of the insert material 4 being misaligned. Molded product 6 in the deformed part
The insert material 4 is firmly fixed by the shrinkage of the molded product 6 after molding.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, in the present invention, an insert material is removably set on the outer surface of a vacuum forming mold, and a heat-softened resin sheet is suctioned and adhered to the outer surface of the vacuum forming mold. Vacuum forming is performed with a part of the insert material embedded in the molded product, and then the molded product is released from the vacuum forming mold and the insert material that is partially embedded in the molded product is vacuum formed. Since it is separated from the mold, insert materials such as bearings can be attached to the molded product at the same time as vacuum forming, and there is no need for post-processing such as drilling holes in the molded product. The position of the insert material to be attached to the molded product is determined by the position of the retaining groove formed in the vacuum forming mold that molds the molded product, and the attachment of the insert material to the molded product is The insert material can be attached with high precision without causing the position to go out of order.
