Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably evaporate fuel without being influenced by the outside air condition and obtain a small-sized and compact heating apparatus by installing the heating apparatus onto an evaporating and mixing apparatus for evaporating and mixing liquid fuel. CONSTITUTION:The liquid fuel in a fuel container 31 is jetted out into an evaporating chamber 35 constituting an evaporating and mixing apparatus 14, and after the pressure is adjusted by a pressure adjustor 41, the fuel is inhaled into a cylinder 5, passing through a mixing device 11 by the pressure variation due to the movement of a piston 25 in an engine 1, and is combusted. Further, simultaneously with the start of operation, exhaust wind is introduced into a heating chamber 45, and the evaporation chamber 35 is heated, and the fuel necessary for the engine 1 is evaporated and supplied. Further, by opening and closing a pressure adjusting valve 53 for adjusting the exhaust wind to a proper pressure, the always stable supply of fuel is maintained. While, when the outside air temperature is low on start, the part exposed outside a heating body 57 is heated by a lighter, etc., and the evaporation inside the heating chamber 45 is accelerated.

Spouts gas or liquefied fuel containing a mixture of liquid and gas,
The liquefied fuel that spewed out was mixed with air and supplied to the engine. This conventional fuel vaporization and mixing device has the following drawbacks. In other words, when using butane-based liquefied gas fuel as the main component, the temperature at which the liquefied butane-based fuel can be vaporized is 0.
It is almost impossible to vaporize fuel at temperatures above O'C, and the amount of vaporization actually decreases at temperatures above O'C, resulting in a shortage in the amount of fuel necessary for the engine to achieve its full performance. Regarding starting, even if starting is possible with fuel that is insufficiently vaporized, there is a drawback that the fuel supply is insufficient in practical operation as described above. Also, compared to gasoline, the latent heat of vaporization is large, and when it is ejected from the nozzle, the temperature of the nozzle part drops, causing icing, which can make operation impossible. Therefore, it is recommended to heat the fuel container to promote vaporization. However, the disadvantage was that the device was large because it heated all of the stored fuel.

In the above embodiment, the liquid fuel in the fuel container 31 is injected into the vaporization chamber 35, the pressure is regulated by the pressure regulator 41, and the pressure changes due to the movement of the piston 25 inside the engine 1 causes the liquid fuel to flow through the mixer 11 into the cylinder. 5 and burns. As soon as the operation starts, the exhaust air flows into the heating room 35.
The fuel enters the engine and heats the vaporization chamber 35, and the heating temperature increases as time passes, vaporizing and supplying the fuel necessary for the engine 1. Furthermore, by opening and closing the control valve 53, which adjusts the exhaust air as appropriate in response to outside temperature conditions and usage conditions, a stable supply of fuel can be maintained at all times. Additionally, if it is difficult to maintain stable operation due to low outside air temperature and unstable vaporization during startup, the externally exposed portion of the heating element 57 is forcibly heated with a lighter, etc., and the vaporization is carried out in the heating chamber 49. By promoting this, fuel can be stably supplied. Note that the fuel vaporization and mixing device 44 of the present invention
is the pressure regulator 41. Other parts such as the mixer 11 may be heated, and heat sources for heating may include cooling air from the engine 1, side heat from the exhaust system, cylinder 5, etc., conduction heat,
It is possible to use a ground heat source such as convection heat or a power source such as a power generator such as a magneto.
