Oral compositions containing organic acids are known (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 56-45407, etc.), and oral compositions containing tannic acid as an anti-hemostasis agent and various organic acids as stabilizers ( Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-69508
Also known are toothpastes containing polycarboxylic acids such as citric acid as stabilizers (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 129215/1983).
しかしながら1口腔用組成物中に配合された有機酸類は
酸味、収斂性を呈し、嗜好性に悪い影響を与える。However, organic acids blended into oral compositions exhibit acidity and astringency, which adversely affect palatability.

Adding sweeteners does not improve acidity or astringency. Also,
Conventionally, even if peppermint-based, spearmint-based flavorings, anethole, and the like, which are commonly used in oral compositions such as toothpastes, are added, acidity and astringency are not similarly improved.

For oral compositions containing a stannous compound such as stannous tin and an organic acid as a stabilizer thereof, certain fragrance ingredients, such as oleoresins, concretes, sesquiterpenes, cineole, and natural substances containing cineole, are used. The present invention was made based on the discovery that when essential oils, vanillin, and spilanthols are blended alone or in combination, the sourness and astringency of oral compositions are improved and excellent taste is exhibited. It is.
