Abstract

PURPOSE:To securely fix a resin body to a working base having atm. air suction ports between the permanent magnets embedded and arranged into said base by imposing the resin body on said working base, covering the working surface except the imposing surface with a sheet and disposing magnetic metals before and behind the resin body. CONSTITUTION:The suction ports 3 are opened between the many permanent magnets 2 embedded and arranged atop the working base 1 and the suction ports 3 fitted with slit cap pieces 4 are connected respectively via pipes 5 to a suction pipe 6 of a suction machine 7. The foamed resin 8 for mold is imposed on the working base 1 and after the part of the top surface of the base 1 is coated with the film sheet 9 except the resin 8 imposing surface, the front and rear of the resin 8 are fixed by using blocks 10. The suction machine 7 is operated in this state to securely suck the resin 8 via the ports 3 onto the base 1 and thereafter the resin 8 is subjected to working. The foamed resin is thereby easily and surely fixed to the working base and the desired working is made possible.

(B) Background art Traditionally, molds for mold manufacturing were often made of wood or metal, and when cutting them with a milling machine etc., bolts and various jigs were used to fix them to the processing table. This mold may be used as a mold by making it from inexpensive foamed resin and applying a hardening agent to its outer surface.

However, in this case, since the foamed resin is extremely lightweight and easily damaged, there is no suitable means for fixing it to the table, and even if you try to cut it mechanically with a milling machine, the resin mold will move or float, resulting in inaccurate (c) Disclosure of the Invention The present invention provides a method for easily and securely fixing the mold to the processing table when cutting the foamed resin mold as described above using a milling machine or the like. This paper proposes a method that can facilitate mechanical cutting.

That is, in manufacturing a foamed resin mold for manufacturing molds by mechanical cutting using a milling machine or the like, the present invention places a workpiece on a processing table with a large number of permanent magnets arranged on the upper surface and a large number of air suction ports arranged open. Place the foamed resin, cover the top surface of the processing table other than the part where the resin is placed with a film or sheet, and use a suction machine to suck the bottom surface of the foamed resin from the suction port to place the resin on the processing table. At the same time, magnetic metal blocks are closely attached to the front and back and/or left and right sides of the resin, and the blocks are attracted to the -F- permanent magnet on the surface of the processing table 1 through the film. It is characterized by fixing.

以下、本発明法の実施例を図により説明する。Hereinafter, embodiments of the method of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

(D) Example 1 shows a metal processing table equipped with a fixing means according to the present invention, and a large number of strong permanent magnets (for example, donut-shaped ferrite Magnets) 2 are embedded and arranged, and a large number of atmospheric suction ports 3 are arranged in alternation with the magnets 2, and a lid piece 4 having a plurality of slits is fitted into each suction port 3. The upper surfaces of these lid pieces 4 and magnets 2 are buried so as to be flush with the upper surface of the processing table 1, so that the upper surface of the processing table 1 becomes a flat surface.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a communication pipe installed inside the processing table 1, and the pipe 5 communicates with each of the suction ports 4 mentioned above, and is connected to an air intake v provided on the side of the processing table 1.
6, and an external suction device 7 sucks atmospheric air from each suction port 4 on the top surface of the processing table 1.

Therefore, in order to cut the foamed resin 8 such as styrene foam, which is a workpiece that will become a mold for mold production, using a milling machine or the like, first, the processing table l is fixed, and then the processing table 1 is cut as shown in FIG. The upper surface of the processing table 1 other than the part A on which the resin 8 is placed is covered with a thin film or sheet such as a vinyl film to close the suction port 3 so that air can be sucked only from the part A. Note that the size of the portion A is preferably slightly smaller than the bottom surface of the resin 8.

Therefore, when the foamed resin 8 of the workpiece is placed on the part A and the suction machine 7 is activated, the bottom surface of the resin 8 is strongly attracted to the processing table 1 by suction from each suction port 3 of the part A. This suppresses the floating of the resin 8 (FIG. 3(b)).

However, there is still a risk that this resin 8 may shift laterally, so magnetic metal blocks, such as iron, of an appropriate size (i.e., a size that does not get in the way of cutting) are placed on the front and back and/or left and right sides of the resin 8. When the blocks 10 are brought into close contact with each other, the blocks 10
is attached to the processing table 1 by the magnet 2 below through the film 9.
'' The resin 8 is strongly adsorbed to the two surfaces, thereby completely preventing the resin 8 from shifting in the lateral direction (Fig. 3 (c)).

Therefore, since the resin 8 is firmly fixed on the processing table 1 in this way, even if mechanical cutting is performed using a milling machine or the like,
There is no fear that the resin 8 will move or float, and a foamed resin mold of a desired shape can be produced quickly, accurately, and neatly.

(e) Effects of the invention The present invention is as described above, and conventionally it was impossible to mechanically process foamed resin, but according to the present invention, foamed resin made of a flexible material such as konnyaku is fixed by suction. Then, general machining and NC processing can be performed. This means that, for example, when using foamed resin as a casting model, the cost is 1/2 to 11 times that of conventional wooden molds.
5, which contributes to significant cost reduction and productivity improvement in the entire pre-casting process, and the economic effect is extremely large.
