光路と交わる部分が充分長い試料ガス経路を形成
した測定セルと、前記測定セルへ赤外線を照射す
る赤外線源と、この赤外線源から前記測定セルに
与えられる赤外線の量を調整する可変絞りと、前
記測定セルを通過した赤外線を受光する検出器と
を具備し、前記可変絞りを絞り込んで前記赤外線
の透過部分を前記測定セル内のガスの流れが最も
早い試料ガス経路部分に合致させるようにし、前
記可変絞りを開くことによつて前記測定セルの全
断面に前記赤外線が照射されるようにしたことを
