Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure desired cleanness in a specified region in a room especially needing cleanability, by a method wherein a partition, partitioning an air return region from a clean region, is situated in a manner that it is suspended down to a given height from a ceiling. CONSTITUTION:A portion, being below a ceiling surface where two rows of supply openings are positioned facing each other, or a central part in a room forms a cleaning region 61, and for example, in a manufacturing apparatus, being apt to be damaged by mixture and adhesion of fine dust, and in the operation room of a hospital, an apparatus 60, e.g., an operating table, is placed. Meanwhile, a place below a ceiling surface, where the supply openings are arranged, or the two wall sides in a room form an air return region 63, which is utilized as a region, e.g., a man or an article passage where cleanability is not demanded to be so much high. A partition 64 is suspended down to a given height from a ceiling surface in an intermediate position wherein a supply opening 56 and a suction port 58 of an air cleaning unit 54 are separated from each other, and the air cleaning units are positioned across the whole interior of a room. Thus, cleaned air blown off through air cleaning units 54 in rows A and B is disturbed from horizontal dispersion, and falls down a clean region. This constitution can keep cleanness in the clean region 61 at a given level.

The indoor lO air is also sucked in by the suction port 22, and then passed through the duct 2.
1 and then circulated to the air conditioner 16. If necessary, part of the suction air is exhausted from the duct 26, while
Fresh outside air is taken in through the duct 28 for ventilation of circulating air. However, in a clean room with this type of structure, it is necessary to install ducts and provide a separate machine room for the air conditioner. Therefore, there are problems in that the construction cost becomes enormous and the required installation area for the clean room becomes large.

As a means for improving this problem, an air purification unit 30 as shown in FIG. 4 is known. This air purification unit 30 is arranged independently on the ceiling 10 of a clean room, and has an inlet 32 and an outlet 34 on the ceiling 10.
The indoor air sucked in from the suction port 32 is adjusted to a desired temperature by a heat exchanger 36, and then sent to the purification box 40 by a built-in blower 38. A high-performance filter 42 is installed in the purification box 40.
The air purified by the filter 42 is also blown into the room through the air outlet 34. Since this air purification unit 30 can be easily attached to the ceiling of a clean room, construction costs are low and no special installation area is required. By continuing to operate this unit, the cleanliness of the room gradually increases.

Therefore, it is suitable for clean rooms where high cleanliness is not required. However, this air purification unit tends to short-circuit the clean air coming out of the outlet 34 to the inlet 32 and simply circulate the clean air. For this reason, there have been disadvantages in that it is difficult to maintain the cleanliness level in the room at a desired value, and that it takes a long time to reach the desired value. In order to improve this shortcoming,
Although it is conceivable to attach a hanging membrane 44 between the air outlet and the suction port to prevent air short-circuiting to each air purification unit, this cannot be considered as a drastic solution. In addition, one solution is to arrange multiple air purification units 30 described above in one clean room to increase the cleanliness of the room, but it is not possible to arrange these air purification units without any special measures. The reality is that the desired level of cleanliness cannot be obtained by simply doing so.

In a clean room, it is not necessarily necessary to uniformly clean the entire area in the room, and even if there is a clean area where special cleanliness is required and other areas, the function as a cream room can be maintained. It was devised based on the viewpoint that there are cases in which it is possible to secure the security.

That is, the clean room according to the present invention is equipped with a suction port and an air outlet separated from each other on the ceiling surface of the room, purifies the indoor air sucked in from the air inlet with a filter, and then sends this purified air into the room from the air outlet. A plurality of blowing air purification units are arranged in parallel in the ceiling, and the lower part of the ceiling surface where the suction ports of the air purification units are arranged in parallel is defined as a return air area,
The clean area is below the ceiling surface where the air outlets are arranged in parallel, and the partition plate that partitions the return air area and the clean area is provided hanging down to a predetermined height from the ceiling surface.

Embodiments of the present invention are shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The clean room is divided into an indoor room and a ceiling space 52 with a ceiling surface 50 as a boundary, and a plurality of air purification units 54 are arranged in parallel on the ceiling space 52 side.

That is, as shown in FIG. 2, two rows of air purification units, row A and row B, are provided, and in each row, a plurality of air purification units 54 are arranged in parallel. The air outlet 56 of the air purification unit in each row is arranged in the center of the room, and the inlet 58 is arranged on the wall side. Therefore, two rows of air outlets are arranged facing each other on the ceiling surface in the center of the room, and one row of air inlets are arranged on both sides of the wall side of the room on both sides of the center part. In this embodiment, the lower part of the ceiling and armpit where two rows of air outlets face each other, that is, the center of the room, becomes the clean area 61, and is used for manufacturing equipment that does not like fine dust to be mixed in or attached to it, or for hospital operations. In the room, equipment 60 such as an operating table is placed in this clean area. On the other hand, the area below the ceiling surface where the rows of suction ports are arranged, that is, on both indoor wall sides, becomes the return air area 63.
For example, it is used in areas where not very clean vessels are required, such as passageways for people and goods. The clean area 61 and the return air area are separated only in their upper portions by a partition plate 64.

That is, this partition plate 64 is connected to each air purification unit 5.
The air outlet 56 and the suction outlet 58 of the four air outlets are spaced apart from each other, and are hung down to a predetermined height from the ceiling surface at an intermediate position between them, and are provided so as to traverse the entire interior of the room.

Therefore, the presence of the partition plate 64 prevents the clean air blown from the air purifying units 54 in the A and B rows from spreading in the horizontal direction, and r/? F.? It descends through the clean area while forming a laminar flow. For this reason, the clean area 6
1 can be maintained at a desired value. The air that has descended from the clean area 61 is returned to the return air area 6 below the partition plate 64.
3, and is sucked into the suction port 58 of the air purification unit while forming an upward flow. Due to the presence of the partition plate 64, the clean air discharged from the air outlet 56 will not be short-circuited to the air inlet 58. Therefore, the functions of the air purification unit can be utilized to the fullest. Any partition plate may be used as long as it has an air flow shielding effect, and a rigid plate or a flexible plate may be used.

FIG. 5 shows another embodiment of the invention. In this embodiment, a rigid plate 64A is suspended from the ceiling surface 50 to a certain height as a partition plate, and a flexible sheet 64A is attached to the lower end of the rigid plate 64A.
B is lowered to a position close to the floor surface 65. According to this embodiment, the separation between the clean region 61 and the return air region 63 becomes more strict, and the cleanliness of the clean region 61 can be further improved. The flexible sheet 64B allows easy access between the clean area 61 and the return air area 63.
