【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は建築用板に使用するエンボス模様を施
した着色亜鉛鉄板(以下、単にエンボス鉄板とい

以下に、図面を用いて本発明に係るエンボス鉄
板の製造装置について詳細に説明する。第1図は
本発明に係るエンボス鉄板の製造装置を示す説明
図である。図において、1はアンコイラ、2は亜
鉛鉄板でコイル状に巻回した厚板である。3は入
側ルーパ、4は前処理部で亜鉛鉄板2に塗装する
ために塗装面に対し浸せき方式、スプレー方式に
よつて化成皮膜を形成するための機能を有するも
のである。5はエンボスロールで雄型、雌型のロ
ール6,7からなり、厚板に対し立体感、豪華さ
を付加するために、例えば第2図に示すような凹
模様Aと凸模様Bを連続して形成するものであ
り、凹凸模様A,B間の高低差は約0.1〜5mm位
である。なお、凹凸模様A,Bには円、3角形、
楕円形、棒状、ゆずはだ状、ドロメ状、クレータ
状、キヤスト状、スチツプ状、トラバチン状、ス
タツコ状、はん点状、などの名称で呼称されてい
る模様、および名称などが不明の模様等の1種か
らなるものである。8は下塗り塗装機でエンボス
加工を施した亜鉛鉄板の表、裏面に下塗り塗料を
塗布するためのものであり、9は焼付炉で下塗り
塗装機8で塗布された塗料を焼付けるためのもの
である。10は上塗り塗装機で亜鉛鉄板の表面に
上塗り塗料を塗布するためのものであり、11は
焼付炉で上塗り塗料を焼付けするためのものであ
る。12はコイラでエンボス加工され、上、下塗
膜で被覆された、所謂2コート・2ベークの着色
亜鉛鉄板をコイル状に巻回するためのものであ

次に本発明に係るエンボス鉄板の製造装置の動
作について説明する。なお、周知のピンチロー
ラ、シヤー、ステツチ等は殆ど説明、記載を省略
する。そこで、第1図に示すようにアンコイラ1
にコイル状に巻回された亜鉛鉄板(板厚0.27)を
装着し、亜鉛鉄板2は点線で示すピンチローラを
介して入側ルーパ3、前処理部4を経て、亜鉛鉄
板2の油、ゴミを除去し、かつ、化成被膜を形成
してエンボスロール5に供給し、エンボスロール
5で亜鉛鉄板2に第2図に示すような凹凸模様
(深さ0.9mm)を形成した。次ぎに、エンボスロー
ル5から送出された亜鉛鉄板2には、その表、裏
面に対し、例えばエポキシ樹脂系の下塗り塗料を
下塗り塗装機8を介して塗布し、焼付炉9を経て
10ミクロンの下塗り塗膜を形成した。次ぎに、こ
の下塗り塗膜を塗布した亜鉛鉄板2の片面に対し
て、ホワイト色の、例えばポリエステル樹脂から
なる上塗り塗料を上塗り塗装機10によつて塗布
し、焼付炉11に送給して膜厚10ミクロンの上塗
り塗膜を形成し、これをコイラ12に巻取り、エ
ンボス鉄板の製造を完了した。このようにして製
造したエンボス鉄板は第3図に示すように亜鉛鉄
板2の表、裏面に上、下塗膜C,Dを形成した断
面となるものである。また、本発明に係るエンボ
ス鉄板製造装置により製造したエンボス鉄板の耐
食性(塩水噴霧試験JIS―Z―2371 1000時間)、
外観を従来のように市販着色亜鉛鉄板に上記と同
じような模様、深さのエンボスをエンボスロール
で行つたサンプルと比較したところ、次にような
結果が得られた。すなわち、塩水噴霧試験におい
ては、実施例で製造したエンボス鉄板には塗膜の
クラツク等がなく白化、赤錆が全く見られず、か
つ、凹凸模様A,Bのコントラストが明確にな
り、立体感が助長されていた。これに対し、比較
例の着色亜鉛鉄板は化粧面となる表面の塗膜が凹
凸模様の屈曲部でクラツク、および塗膜が一部亜
鉛鉄板から剥離しており、72時間で屈曲部に赤錆
が発生していた。また、外観上は単に凹凸模様を
形成しただけであるため、実施例に比して立体感
に劣る感じに見えた。さらに、前処理した後にエ
ンボス加工したため、凹凸模様につぶれ、ズレが
見られず、かつ、上、下塗料の塗りも良好であつ

し、美しく立体感のある外観のエンボス鉄板を製
造できる特徴がある。さらに、エンボス鉄板を製
