A relatively low-grade wood board with a smooth grain is used, and its surface is ground by brushing, etc., to create an uneven shape with relatively soft springwood parts as concave parts and hard summerwood parts as convex parts. A colored decorative board that exhibits the appearance of high-quality wood with contrasting wood grains by reversing the color density of the spring wood portion and summer wood portion by coloring the concave portions relatively darker than the convex portions. It is conventionally known to create However, in this case, if you try to dye it darkly to create a clear contrast, the texture, which is the unique luster of wood, will be covered up and the feel of natural wood will be spoiled.
On the other hand, if it was colored lightly, it would not be possible to create the desired contrast, and the problem would be that it would not be possible to create the opposite color tones of the summer wood and spring wood.

In order to solve these problems, the inventor of the present invention previously proposed a colored paint containing a pearl pigment, as shown in Japanese Patent Application No. 115568/1983, and the colored paint was dried during the summer after application. By removing only the portion attached to the surface convex portion that corresponds to the wood portion, good texture is given to the recessed portion that is the spring wood portion. We proposed a manufacturing method for wood decorative boards.

Therefore, in this invention, when removing the transparent colored paint containing pearl pigment from the part on the convex part of the surface which is the summer wood part, it is intentionally made to remain in a thin part, and furthermore, this remaining part is The desired purpose was achieved by orienting the pearl pigments contained therein in a substantially constant direction to cause multiple reflections. The material is formed into an uneven shape with concave parts in the spring material part and convex parts in the summer material part by brushing processing, etc., and then a suction prevention layer made of a transparent resin paint is formed on the uneven surface, and then a pearl pigment is added thereon. Apply the transparent colored paint to the entire surface, and before it dries, remove the transparent colored paint adhered to the convex portions so that the pearl pigments contained therein become oriented and remain partially, and then cover most of the other parts. The gist of this invention is a method for producing a wood decorative board, which is characterized by removing the transparent colored paint and thereafter drying the transparent colored paint.

In FIG. 1, a decorative original plate 1 used in this invention
may be any wood board with grain, but wood species with a clear distinction between the soft spring wood part 2 and the hard summer wood part 3 and a relatively large density difference,
For example, softwood materials such as cedar, toga, and pine can be suitably used. Such a wood board may be used alone as a board material or a bar material for the decorative original board 1, but
Most commonly, as shown in Figure 1, the thickness is 0.2~
It is processed into a thin plate of about 1.0 mm and used by being attached to an appropriate base material 11 such as plywood, fiberboard, laminated wood, etc. using a known adhesive.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the surface of the wood decorative original board 1 is processed into an uneven shape, with the spring wood part 2 being a concave part 4 and the summer wood part 3 being a convex part 5. This processing can be most easily carried out by brushing and grinding the surface of the decorative original plate 1 with a roll-shaped metal brush or nylon brush, but is not limited to this. The decorative original plate 1 may be compressed through the body, and the surface may be formed into an uneven shape by pressing, etc., in which the soft spring material portions are depressed. By forming the depth of the recess 4 to be approximately 0.1 to 0.5 mm, the desired effect can be expected to be excellent.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, a suction prevention layer 6 made of a colorless transparent synthetic resin paint is applied to the uneven surface of the decorative original plate 1 to prevent uneven suction of the colored paint to be applied later. Form by applying. Furthermore, after the formation of this suction prevention layer 6, that is, after the paint has been applied and dried, if there is foaming of the paint or fuzzing of the wood, it is recommended to buff it as necessary to remove it. desirable.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, a transparent colored paint 7 of, for example, polyurethane, containing a pearl pigment in addition to desired colored pigments, is applied substantially uniformly over the entire surface of the suction prevention layer 6. The pearl pigment used here is a thin plate-shaped crystal made from carbonate, arsenate, titanium oxide, etc., and the amount added in the paint is preferably about 0.5 to 2.0%. In order to fully exhibit the effect of this pearl pigment, it is desirable to use a colored paint with as high transparency as possible, and therefore it is preferable to use a transparent pigment as the coloring agent. On the other hand, the means for applying the transparent colored paint is not particularly limited, and any known means may be used; however, applying with a sponge roll is simple and ensures sufficient application to the recesses 4. It is advantageous in that it can be done.

After the colored pigment 7 is applied, and before it dries, the paint adhering to the convex portion 5 is removed. However, this removal operation
In particular, as shown in FIG. 5, the colored paint 7 is not removed entirely on the convex portion 5, but only a thin portion remains, and most of the pearl pigment contained in the paint is removed. It shall be done so that it is approximately oriented in a certain direction within the thin layer of paint. The removal means is not particularly limited as long as it can satisfy these conditions, but in order to remove the pearl pigment while giving it good orientation, it is necessary to apply a rubbing action to the surface and remove it on the convex portions 5. It is preferable to scrape or wipe off the colored paint. Specifically, for example, a hard roll such as an iron roll is used, and while rotating it in the opposite direction to the feeding direction of the decorative original plate 1. In other words, it is most advantageous to use it as a reverse roll to rub the surface of the decorative original plate 1 coated with the colored paint 7, thereby depositing the paint on the surface and removing it. According to this removing means, it is possible to leave a part of the colored paint 7 in an appropriate thin layer on the convex portion 5 and to bring the pearl pigment therein into a good orientation state, thereby maximizing the effect of the present invention. Although this can be preferably achieved, it is also sufficient to remove most of the colored paint 7 on the convex portions 5 by simply transferring it to the roll surface by a burnishing operation instead of scraping with the reverse roll. It is possible to achieve the desired effect.

After removing most of the colored paint 7 on the convex portions 5 as described above, the colored paint 7 remaining on the board surface is dried, and then, if necessary, as shown in FIG. A transparent synthetic resin coating layer 8 for surface protection is formed on the paint layer. The type of coating layer 8 is selected depending on the purpose of the decorative board. For example, if it is a floor material, a certain level of smoothness, abrasion resistance, and weather resistance are required. In view of this, the recesses should be filled to some extent with polyester resin or the like to give the surface a smooth or nearly smooth surface, or a sheet impregnated with a transparent resin such as diallyl phthalate should be hot-press-molded to give the surface a smooth finish. . In addition, when used as a wall material, surface smoothness is not particularly required, so it may be coated with aminoalkyd or polyurethane resin paint two to three times.

According to the manufacturing method of the present invention as described above, the colored paint 7 remains thickly adhered to the concave portions 4 formed by the spring material portions 2 on the surface of the decorative original board 1, while the colored paint 7 remains thickly adhered to the convex portions 5 made of the summer material portions 3. Since only a very thin layer of colored paint 7 remains on the surface, the concave portions 4 are colored more deeply than the convex portions 5, and the color tones of the summer wood and spring wood portions appear to be reversed. Furthermore, it is possible to obtain a beautiful decorative board with a deep and bright wood grain and a clear color tone contrast between them. Moreover, in particular, the colored paint 7 that remains attached to the recess 4 exhibits diffuse reflection due to the pearl pigments contained therein being scattered in a non-oriented state, and as a result, the gloss state of the wood does not change much even when the viewing angle changes. On the other hand, the colored paint 7 remaining thinly on the convex part 5 has a texture appearance similar to that of the summer wood part.
Due to its thin layer thickness, there is almost no coloring property, and the color tone of the summer material part 3 is expressed almost as it is, while the pearl pigment contained in it is oriented, so it exhibits multiple reflections and is sufficient. It has a pearlescent luster and appears white and shiny. Therefore, it not only provides a good textured appearance, but also has a glossy appearance that changes markedly depending on the viewing angle due to multiple reflections, which improves the texture of the spring wood of natural wood. It exhibits an appearance extremely similar to that of the concave portion 4, and is in good contrast with that of the recessed portion 4, and exhibits a wood grain pattern similar to that of natural high-grade wood with a clear contrast. It is.

Example A straight-grained veneer of Japanese pine (0.6 mm thick) with unclear annual rings was attached to a 5 mm thick plywood board, and the spring material was ground into a concave shape by grinding it parallel to the fiber direction of the veneer with a rolled nylon brush. A decorative board was obtained in which the surface was formed into an uneven shape with the summer wood portion as a convex portion. Next, apply 45 g/m 2 of low viscosity (viscosity cap 12 sec) polyurethane resin paint to this decorative board.
After coating, drying and curing, the surface was polished with a buff roll. Next, reddish brown transparent pigment and pearl pigment (1
%) was applied thinly using a sponge roll coater, and immediately after that, coating unevenness on the surface was removed using a soft rubber roll.
Subsequently, a reverse roll made of an iron roll with a smooth surface was contacted to scrape off the colored paint on the surface of the convex portion, leaving a thin portion of it remaining. Next, after drying the transparent colored paint remaining on the board surface, 50 g/m 2 of polyurethane anti-stain sealer was applied, and after curing, 300 g/m 2 of transparent polyester resin was applied, and the top surface was covered with cellophane. The desired decorative board was obtained by coating and curing. In this decorative board, the color tones of the spring and summer wood parts are reversed, giving the appearance of clear growth rings, and both the concave and convex parts have good texture, and their luster forms are in good contrast to each other. It had a deep and beautiful appearance that closely resembled natural wood.
