Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a long drain pipe and decrease an expenditure of work by a method wherein drain dewed in an indoor heat exchanger is received by an inclined drain pan in the indoor unit and sent to an upper sprinkler of an outside heat exchanger, the drain is sprinkled to be vapored and the non- vaporized drain water is evaporated by an electrical heater. CONSTITUTION:Dew is formed at an indoor heat exchanger 32 and drain water is dropped into a drain pan of an indoor unit. The dropped drain water is flowed in a pipe 34 arranged to turn in front of an entire heat exchanger 30, flowed in the pipe 29a of the sprinkler 29 and then sprinkled to the indoor heat exchanger 26. The water is heat-exchanged with a condensation heat with this sprinkling action, the drain is evaporated, and the vapor is discharged out of the house through a discharging port by an outdoor blower unit 25. The non-evaporated drain is dripped into a drain pan of an outdoor unit. The dripped drain is heated by an electrical heater 28 and evaporated and flowed in the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit together with the surrounding air in the discharging flow passage flowing from the surrounding air suction port 37, passed through the outdoor blower 25, and discharged out of the house through the discharging port.

Function: With this configuration, condensate that condenses on the indoor heat exchanger during cooling falls into the indoor unit drain pan, flows through the pipes, and is sprayed from the water sprinkler to the outdoor heat exchanger. This water spraying causes the outdoor heat exchanger to act as a condenser. This increases the condensation effect, and the drain that cannot be sprayed with water is further evaporated by the electric heater in the outdoor unit drain pan, and then exhausted to the outside.

In the above configuration, the indoor air is supplied to the indoor suction port 36 on the indoor side.
A flow path in which outside air is sucked in from the air, flows through the indoor blower 36 and the indoor heat exchanger 32, and is blown out from the indoor air outlet 31, and outside air is sucked in through the outside air intake port 37 at the rear (back side) of the total heat exchanger 3o. Outdoor fan 2 that wraps around below the outdoor heat exchanger 26
A through hole 39 in a wall 38 provided opposite to the through hole 3
A flow path for exhausting air to the outside is formed through an exhaust port 40 provided at 9. During cooling, the outdoor heat exchanger 26 acts as a condenser and the indoor heat exchanger 32 acts as an evaporator, but dew condensation occurs in the indoor heat exchanger 32 and drain falls into the indoor unit drain pan 33. The fallen drain flows through a pipe 34 disposed so as to detour to the front side of the total heat exchanger 3o, and flows through the pipe 29a of the water sprinkler 29, and sprinkles water on the outdoor heat exchanger 26 beyond the person 2eb. This water spraying exchanges heat with condensation heat, evaporates the drain, and the evaporated steam is exhausted outdoors from the exhaust port 4o by the outdoor blower 25. However, if the amount of condensate becomes large, the condensation heat of the outdoor heat exchanger 26 may not be enough to evaporate the condensate, so the condensate that cannot be evaporated will drip into the outdoor unit drain pan 27. The dripped condensate is further heated and evaporated by the electric heater 28 (sheathed heater), and flows through the outdoor heat exchanger 26 together with the outside air in the exhaust flow path that flows in from the outside air suction port 37, passes through the outdoor blower 26, and is discharged to the outside through the exhaust port 4o. In addition, it is inevitable that rainwater will enter the outdoor unit drain pan 27 through the through hole 39 during strong winds and rain. When this rainwater enters, the electric heater 28 must be energized. Rainwater can be heated and evaporated.

As a result, the inside of the outdoor unit drain pan 27 is always kept free of water droplets, and both the indoor unit drain pan 33 and the outdoor unit drain pan 27 can be kept almost dry, and there is no bad odor caused by water corrosion.

Effects of the Invention According to the present invention, condensate condensed on the indoor heat exchanger is received by the indoor unit drain pan provided at an angle toward the outdoor unit, and from this indoor unit drain pan is transferred to the outdoor heat exchanger via a pipe. The condensate is sent to the sprinkler system above, and the condensate is sprinkled onto the outdoor heat exchanger from the sprinkler system to evaporate it.Any condensate that cannot be evaporated is evaporated by an electric heater installed in the outdoor unit drain pan. The drain evaporates reliably, eliminating the need for long drain pipes installed in the attic of the building. Therefore, the cost of constructing these drain pipes is enormous, so this is a significant cost reduction, and there is no problem of cracks in the drain pipes, and there is no staining of ceilings or other buildings due to water leakage. .
