(Means for solving the problem) The present invention utilizes the fact that the temperature and humidity of the exhaust air from the room is approximately constant due to central heating and cooling, and by using this exhaust air, condensate is efficiently evaporated together with the exhaust air. In a heat pump type air conditioner for indoor local heating and cooling, which is installed on the ceiling of a room that is cooled and heated by a central heating and cooling method, the evaporator is located above the condenser in the main body case of the air conditioner. The apparatus is characterized in that it is configured such that drain in a drain receiver provided on the lower surface of the evaporator drips onto the condenser.

(Function) In the above device, the central air conditioner A air-conditions the room C with the conditioned air from the outlet D through central heating and cooling, while the heat pump air conditioner 1 operates to air the room C. Locally heated and cooled. That is, in the summer, the fan 5 blows the indoor air from the suction port 8 through the evaporator 3 as cold air into the room C from the outlet 7 as shown by the arrow X in FIG. According to the intake outside air amount, the indoor air is drawn out from the suction port 9 by the fan 6 as shown by the arrow y, passes through the condenser 4, is exhausted into the ceiling from the exhaust outlet 10, and is passed through the exhaust duct 11 by the fan 12. Released outdoors.

In winter, by switching a four-way valve (not shown) to reverse operation of the refrigeration cycle, the evaporator 3 is converted into a condenser, and the condenser 4 is converted into an evaporator, so that indoor air passes through the condenser. As before, the hot air is blown out from the air outlet 7 with the flow shown by the arrow X to heat the interior of the room C, and some of the air in the room is passed through the evaporator with the flow shown by the arrow y and sent to the exhaust air outlet. 10 into the ceiling, exhaust duct 1

In the heating operation described above, drain is generated in the evaporator 3 and collected in the drain receiver 13 on the lower surface, but this drain immediately flows from the discharge hole 13 to the drip pan 1 on the lower surface.
The condensate flows into the condenser 4 and drips onto the condenser 4 from the drip opening, and is evaporated by the heat dissipation effect of the indoor exhaust from the condenser 4. The condensate is exhausted into the ceiling along with the exhaust, and is discharged outdoors through the exhaust duct 17. released.

Incidentally, as shown in another embodiment in FIG. 4, the drain accumulated in the surplus drain receiver 15 is pumped up by the pump 16
If this is dripped and circulated through the sprinkler pipe 17, the evaporation effect of the drain can be further promoted.

(Effects of the invention) According to the invention, air conditioned with outside air is blown into the room by the central cooling and heating equipment, and a part of the indoor air is exhausted outside through the condenser and the ceiling. However, the part of the indoor air that passes through the condenser has a humidity that can evaporate the condensate, and the temperature remains almost constant due to the indoor air supplied by central heating and cooling, so the condensate cannot be evaporated. It is extremely effective and the evaporated air is discharged outdoors by exhausting it from the room, so it does not disturb the indoor air conditioning and does not require piping or other exhaust equipment for drain exhaust as in the past. This has the effect of simplifying the installation of this type of air conditioner.
