Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust the amplification gain without deteriorating the distortion characteristic by fixing a bias, providing a feedback circuit to an amplifier circuit and changing the feedback quantity. CONSTITUTION:The system is adopted that the amplification factor of a transistor 5 is controlled by a feedback circuit comprising a pin diode 6, a current is fed to the pin diode 6 from an AGC terminal via a resistor 4 and the amplification factor is controlled by the resistance of the pin diode 6 varied by the current. The feedback quantity is varied by flowing a current of 0-1mA to the pin diode. Thus, since the AGC is applied without deteriorating the distortion characteristic, the performance is improved as a strong electric field input or broad band amplifier.

In the figure, 6 is a bin diode. The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 uses a method in which the amplification degree of the transistor 5 is controlled by a feedback circuit composed of a bin diode 6, and a current is supplied to the bin diode 6 from the AGC terminal via the resistor 4. The degree of amplification is controlled by the resistance value of the bin diode 6, which varies depending on the amount of radio waves.
