Generally, in gas stations, automobile factories, repair shops, and the like, a large number of cleaning guns may be required in order to wash automobiles and parts at a large number of workplaces. Conventionally, there has been a car washing device for automobiles which includes a pump installed in the hot water supply pipe of a boiler and a washing gun attached to the discharge pipe of the pump (for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 15096/1983). In order to obtain a large number of cleaning guns using this device, it is necessary to increase the size of the entire device or install a plurality of small-sized guns, but in these cases, there are the following drawbacks.

As shown in FIG. 1, in this embodiment, the hot water supply system configured as above is composed of No. 1 unit A1 , No. 2 unit A2, No. 3 unit A3,
The discharge pipes 9 of each of the three units are connected to one main pipe 16.
The main pipe 16 is connected to a car wash or other work site (not shown), and each work site is provided with a number of cleaning guns 17 according to the frequency of use. Each cleaning gun 17 has a hand cock 18 and is preferably provided so as to be freely attached via a flexible pipe 19. The No. 2 and No. 3 hot water supply devices A2 and A3 are provided with their respective pumps 7.
A pressure switch 20 for controlling the start and stop of the discharge pipe 9 is provided after the unloader valve 10 of each discharge pipe 9. As shown in Fig. 2, the switch 20 has an upper limit setting section 21 and a lower limit setting section 22, and when the pressure in the discharge pipe 9 exceeds the upper limit setting, the pump drive motor is turned off to stop the operation of the pump 7, and when the pressure falls below the lower limit, it is started. The remaining No. 1 hot water supply device A1 is not provided with a pressure switch 20, and the pump 7 has a characteristic that when not in use, the unloader valve 10 operates to continue unloaded operation, and automatically switches to loaded operation when the pressure in the discharge pipe 9 decreases. The relationship between the start and stop of the pump 7 and the transition from unloaded to loaded operation of the three hot water supply devices A1, A2 , and A3 and the pressure in the discharge pipe 9 is as shown in Fig. 3, which will be made clear in the explanation of operation described later.

(3) Pump 7 of the remaining No. 1 unit continues to operate, and the No. 3 pump
As shown in the figure, the pressure rises above the no-load operating pressure of the pump 7. At this time, unloader valve 1
At 0, the pressure on the secondary side of the check valve 11 is applied to the push rod 13 through the communication path 14, and the rod 13 is pushed down to open the relief valve 12 and allow hot water discharged from the pump 7 to escape. Here, unless the hand knob 18 of the cleaning gun 17 is opened, the check valve 11
The pressure in the discharge pipe 9 and the main pipe 16 is maintained by this. In this way, the hot water discharged from the pump 7 flows through the relief valve 12 and the return pipe 15 to the water tank 6, and the head pressure of the pump 7 becomes approximately 2 to 3 kg/cm2, and as shown in FIG. 7 is in the no-load operation region A 1 L', and the current consumption of the drive motor is about 1/3 of the load current.

Operation during cleaning work (1) First, when one cleaning gun 17 is used, there is sufficient water volume and pressure due to the preparatory operation, but the pressing force of the spring of the push rod 13 in the unloader valve 10 must be adjusted with the adjustment nut. Since the discharge pressure on the secondary side of the check valve 11 is regulated by this, pressure exceeding the regulated pressure is released through the relief valve 12 which is pushed open by the push rod 13. Thus, hot water at a predetermined pressure and flow rate is discharged from the cleaning gun 17 at the same time as the hand pot 18 is opened.

(2) When two cleaning guns 17 are used, check valve 1
The secondary side discharge pressure of 1 is
Since the pressure becomes lower than the adjusted pressure, the relief valve 12 is closed, and all the hot water discharged from the pump 7 is supplied to the cleaning gun 17 via the check valve 11. Therefore, as shown in FIG.

(3) When three cleaning guns 17 are used, the main pipe 16
The pressure in the discharge pipe 9 of the No. 2 hot water supply system A2, which is connected to the No. 2 water heater A2 , momentarily drops below the lower limit setting pressure A2 min of the pressure switch 20, so the switch 20 is activated and the drive motor of the No. 2 pump 7 is activated. Activate. Therefore, as in (1) above, the check valve 11
While the discharge pressure on the secondary side is higher than the adjustment pressure of the push rod 13, excess pressure is released through the relief valve 12. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, the discharge pressure and flow rate from the cleaning guns 17 are kept constant, and this state is maintained until the number of cleaning guns 17 increases to six.

(4) Furthermore, when seven or more cleaning guns 17 are used, the No. 3 water heater A 3 connected via the main pipe 16
Since the pressure in the discharge pipe 9 becomes below the lower limit setting pressure A 3 min of the pressure switch 20, the switch 2
0 operates and starts the drive motor of the pump 7 of the No. 3 pump. However, similarly to (3) above,
The discharge pressure flow rate from the cleaning gun 17 is kept constant. However, the number of cleaning guns 17 that can be used is the permissible number (1 gun at hand when all units 1 to 3 are operated).
The number of cleaning guns that can be used to maintain a constant pressure and constant flow rate with 8 fully closed is set in advance. ), the discharge pressure flow rate from each cleaning gun 17 decreases.

Decrease in the number of cleaning guns used (1) When the number of cleaning guns used decreases from 6 to 5,
The pressure in the main pipe 16 and the discharge pipe 9 increases, and as shown in FIG. 3, the pressure exceeds the upper limit setting pressure A 3 max of the pressure switch 20 of the No. 3 water heater A 3,
The switch 20 is opened, and the pump 7 of the No. 3 unit is opened.

(2) Furthermore, if the number of cleaning guns used is reduced to two,

(3) In addition, the number of cleaning guns used has decreased to 18.
When all are closed, as in (3) above, Unit 1 A 1
The unloader valve 10 operates, and the pump 7 of the No. 1 water heater A 1 shifts to no-load operation, preparing for the resumption of use of the cleaning gun 17.

(3) Conventionally, when equipment breaks down, cleaning operations must be stopped, and the equipment must be replaced or the vehicle to be cleaned must be moved in order to have the equipment repaired or to use another cleaning equipment. However, with the device of the present invention, the discharge pressure and flow rate are supplemented by a device other than the device undergoing malfunction, repair, or inspection, so even if the number of usable tubes is slightly reduced, the cleaning work itself may be hindered. There is no.

(4) Just by piping the main pipe to each work site, the required number of cleaning guns can be placed at each work site, eliminating the need to move cars and other vehicles to special cleaning sites for cleaning, as was the case in the past. Everything from acceptance inspection to car washing, inspection, and repair can be done in the same location. In particular, if the cleaning guns are made detachable, the number of cleaning guns installed at each work site can be changed, which is convenient.

Incidentally, since all the discharge pipes communicate with the main pipe and there is no difference in the pressure inside the two pipes, the pressure switch can be provided not only in each discharge pipe but also in the main pipe.
In that case, the pressure switch can increase or decrease the number of pumps 7 used in stages according to pressure fluctuations in the main pipe.

By the way, in the actual use of cleaning guns, it is rather rare that all the cleaning guns are used with the handles fully open; one is half-open, and one is
Since books are used in a situation where they are 1/4 open, in reality, the number of cleaning guns used is not necessarily proportional to when each pump starts and stops. Therefore, in reality, cleaning work can be performed using more cleaning guns than the above-mentioned permissible number. In short, the operation of starting and stopping each pump depends on the internal pressure of the discharge pipe or main pipe, which varies depending on the state of use of the cleaning gun, the number of cleaning guns used, etc.
