    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 所定の距離を隔てて対向して配置された第１お
    よび第２の偏光ビームスプリツタと、前記偏光ビ
    ームスプリツタの中間に配置され、前記第１の偏
    光ビームスプリツタからのＳ波およびＰ波の直線
    偏光の振動方向を制御する電気光学効果を有する
    スイツチング素子からなる光スイツチにおいて、
    前記第２の偏光ビームスプリツタの一方の出射口
    に光散乱用ＰＬＺＴを設けたことを特徴とする光
    スイツチ。
