する第２の吸気ポートと、燃料噴射弁を設けた第
３の吸気ポートとを具備し、これら第１、第２及
び第３の各吸気ポートを、第１、第２及び第３の
吸気弁を介して燃焼室にそれぞれ接続し前記第３
の吸気弁の開弁時期を吸気行程中央付近となした
複吸気弁エンジンにおいて、シリンダヘツド部の
シリンダ壁側の前記第２の吸気弁と第３の吸気弁
との間のみに、前記第３の吸気ポートからの吸気
を前記スワール方向に向けるマスキングを設けた
