In general, safety measures such as partition walls between the living areas, business areas, and control areas of a ship and the cargo pump room including the pump room entrance are required to pass the A-60 class regulations. In particular, the fireproof structure consists of bulkheads and floors that can prevent the passage of smoke and flames in order to ensure an escape route for crew members in the event of a fire and to prevent the spread of fire. It is also important to prevent disasters at the penetration parts of marine electrical cables, which are essential to such fire prevention structures. In order to allow electric wires to penetrate, it is essential to treat the penetration part with A-60 class fireproof sealing material as a fire prevention measure.

Regarding such fire protection structures, the Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea was ratified and entered into force by member countries in 1974 for passenger ships, tankers, etc., and it is intended to significantly strengthen safety. It is also required to conduct a hose test that takes watertightness into consideration, that is, to ensure that water does not leak to the back surface when water is sprayed at a hose nozzle pressure of 2.11 kg/cm 2 . In other words, it is strictly required for the penetration parts of bulkheads and decks for marine electrical cables to maintain fireproof and waterproof functions through airtight seals to prevent the spread of fire during disasters and watertight seals during fire extinguishing operations.

(i) The sealing work for fire prevention and waterproofing is difficult and has low workability; (ii) The filling has earthquake resistance, destruction resistance, and impact resistance against rolling, etc. during ship navigation. (iii) In particular, with regard to the fire protection and waterproof properties of the wire penetration parts, it is not easy to achieve the above fire protection performance of class A-60 and the waterproof performance to pass the provisions of the hose test. As a result of intensive studies to solve this problem, the inventors removed the outer sheath of the wire at the part where it penetrated the coaming, and installed a waterproof hardening resin between the wire and the coaming in this part. The inventors have discovered that the above problem can be solved by providing one or more filling portions in the axial direction and filling the other portions with a flame-resistant sealing material that does not harden at room temperature, and has arrived at the present invention.

1 to 3, reference numeral 1 denotes a bulkhead of a ship, and this bulkhead 1 has an iron plate 3 fixed to one side of a bulkhead 2. As shown in FIG. A coaming 4 made of a steel plate with an oval cross section is fixed to the bulkhead 1 and penetrated through the coaming 4, and a plurality of marine electric wires 5 such as cables having a zigzag sheath are passed through the coaming 4. be. A flame-resistant sealing material 6 such as Danseal P, which does not harden at room temperature, is placed in the axial center of the coaming 4 for a length a of about 150 mm between the electric wires 5 and between the electric wires 5 and the coaming 4. Fill over several hours. In this case, Danseal P is a non-curing putty-like filler with a consistency suitable for manual work at room temperature, and when the marine electric wire 5 can be moved up and down during the filling operation, it is used as a sheet-like Danseal P. Fill the electric wires 5 while wrapping them, and if the electric wires are fixed, use a wooden board, round bar, etc. as a jig to create gaps between the electric wires 5, and push an appropriate amount of Danseal P into these gaps. Repeat the operation. The outer sheath of the electric wire 5 located on both sides of the part filled with the flame-resistant sealing material 6 as described above is cut and removed to a length b of about 10 mm using a tool such as a nipper to expose the outermost sheath. An exterior removal portion 5a is provided. A waterproof hardening resin 7 consisting of a main ingredient and a hardening agent such as liquid hardening resin or epoxy putty is applied between the electric wires in these portions 5a and between the electric wires and the combing 4.
These hardening resins 7 are injected or press-fitted.
By curing, it forms a waterproof shielding layer with strong adhesive strength and elasticity. In addition, the curable resin 7
As such, Danseal L or Furukawa epoxy putty (both manufactured by Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd., trade names) are preferable, and when workability is important, the latter epoxy putty is preferable. Further, the removal of the outer sheath may be performed before the electric wire 5 is passed through the combing 4. Next, apply approximately 30 mm of flame-resistant sealant 8 such as Danseal P, which does not harden at room temperature, to both ends of the combing 4 in the same way as the center part described above.
to form a fireproof layer. In addition, in this example, the total length d of the coaming 4 in the axial direction is 200
~250mm.

Fire prevention according to the embodiment configured as above,
The waterproof device is able to prevent the passage of smoke and fire in the A-60 class standard fire test as a fire prevention measure, and the allowable average temperature rise on the back side is 139 degrees Celsius or less, and the maximum temperature on the back side at each point including the joints. We were able to keep the temperature, that is, the allowable temperature rise, below 180℃. In addition, the waterproof performance was determined by a rising pressure test in a water pressure container, at 1Kg/cm 2 for 15 minutes, 2Kg/cm 2 for 45 minutes, 3Kg/cm 2 for 75 minutes, and up to 4Kg/cm 2 for 115 minutes. As a result of the test, it was found that it had a sufficient water-stopping effect, and was able to withstand the pressure of 2.11 kg/cm 2 in the hose test mentioned above.

In addition, in this invention, the filling of the waterproof curable resin is not limited to the two places as in the above embodiment, but may be in one place or three or more places, and a flame-resistant seal is provided in addition to the part filled with the curable resin. Although the locations filled with the material may be changed depending on the number of locations filled with the curable resin, it is preferable to fill at least one or both ends of the combing with the flame-resistant sealing material. Further, in the above embodiment, the case where the present invention is applied to a bulkhead has been described, but it goes without saying that this invention can be similarly applied to the floor of a ship such as a deck.

As explained above, the fire prevention and waterproofing device for the section penetrating section of a marine electric wire according to the present invention has a ship's electric wire 5 coated with an outer coating passed through the coaming 4 of a section such as the floor or bulkhead 1 of a ship.
A part of the marine electric wire 5 through which the coaming 4 is penetrated is provided with a portion from which the Ajiro sheath has been removed, and a waterproof hardening resin 7 consisting of a main agent and a curing agent is applied to the portion of the marine electric wire 5 from which the Ajiro sheath has been removed. and the coaming 4, and a portion where these are firmly fixed is provided at at least one location in the axial direction of the coaming 4, and the marine electric wire 5 and the coaming 4 other than the portion where the marine electric wire 5 and the coaming 4 are fixed are provided. Flame-resistant sealing materials 6 and 8, which do not harden at room temperature, are filled between the two. Therefore, in this invention, after a part of the flame-resistant sealing material is filled, the curable resin is injected or press-fitted, and then the remaining part of the flame-resistant sealing material is filled. It is non-curing at room temperature and is easy to fill, making it easy to work with. Also, thanks to the fireproofing properties of the flame-resistant sealing material and the waterproofing properties of the curable resin, it has fireproofing performance of class A-60. It has waterproof performance that can withstand hose tests of A and B ship classes, and has the effect of being mechanically strong.
