[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to an improvement in the mounting structure of an automobile trunk lid hinge.

In general, the trunk lid of an automobile is configured such that a hinge bracket that supports a hinge fixed to the lower front surface is fixed to the deck panel side and can be opened and closed (see, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 127524/1983). We adopted a mounting structure that allows screws to be secured to the trunk lid from the vehicle body, making it easier to connect the trunk lid to the vehicle body, making the hinge more compact, and at the same time improving mounting rigidity with a closed-section member. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a deck panel 2 is provided at the rear of the vehicle body 1, and the rear portion of the deck panel 2 is welded and fixed to a closed section member 3 extending in the width direction of the vehicle body.
