端に、放電間隙を隔てて相対向させた電極を接続
し、これを気密容器中に収容したサージ吸収素子
に於いて、気密容器に、上記電極と電気的接続を
有しないエージング用電極を設けたことを特徴と
するサージ吸収素子。 (2) エージング用電極が、気密容器側壁を貫通
する導出部と、該導出部と接続されて上記気密容
器側壁内面に形成された電極部とより成ることを
特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項に記載
のサージ吸収素子。 (3) エージング用電極の電極部が、放電間隙を
取り囲む如くに配置されたことを特徴とする実用
新案登録請求の範囲第2項に記載のサージ吸収素
子。 (4) エージング用電極の電極部が、炭素を含有
する導電材料より成ることを特徴とする実用新案
