準信号により時刻の各桁をカウントするカウンタ
群と、各カウンタのカウント信号をデジタル表示
信号に変換するデコーダ群と、前記デコーダから
のデジタル表示信号により時刻の各桁をデジタル
表示する表示部と、複数の外部スイツチと、前記
各外部スイツチのオン操作により前記対応する各
カウンタのみを強制的に修正する修正回路と、を
有するデジタル時計において、前記各外部スイツ
チが時計を通常の載置状態と異なる少なくとも１
つの外装面を底面とする載置状態とすることによ
つてオンオフ操作される載置状態検出スイツチで
構成され、かつオン操作された載置状態検出スイ
ツチに対応して前記表示部の修正される各時刻桁
以外の桁を消灯させるドライバ回路を設けたこと
