、 該ピラーの閉断面内を上下に延び、前記インナ
ーパネル側に開放した“コ”の字状の水平断面を
有するステイフナと、 該ステイフナの開放面側に固着されたアンカー
ナツトプレートとからなり、 該アンカーナツトプレートの前記ステイフナに
対向する側の面上に上下に位置する２個のアンカ
用ナツトを固設し、これら２個のナツトの中間位
置において、前記アンカーナツトプレートの両側
に形成された上下に延びたフランジ部を前記ステ
イフナの対向する側壁内面に当接させて閉断面構
造を形成せしめるとともに、該当接部の外端にお
いて前記アンカーナツトプレートを前記ステイフ
ナに溶融接合せしめたことを特徴とする自動車の
