The present invention relates to a method for bacterial digestion or odorless dry decomposition of organic wastes, and to a method for providing the resulting products as fertilizers and other useful products. The organic wastes used as raw materials in the present invention are chicken dregs,
Pig waste, human human urine and similar products. It is also possible to optionally mix vegetable waste such as straw waste and sawdust with these to facilitate the handling of the raw materials. The bacteria used in the present invention is the thermophilic bacterium Bacillus stearothermophilus.
stearothermophylus) (Feikoken Entrustment No. 7587), and its growth temperature range is 40 to 70℃, the optimum temperature for growth.
50℃, exhibits a rod shape, and produces spores. This bacterium is known and its mycological properties are as described in general academic texts. A convenient method for using this bacterium in the present invention is to mix equal amounts of sawdust and organic waste, adjust the moisture content to 70%, inoculate B. stearothermophilus and mix. , this mixture is cultured according to the method of the invention.
The present bacterium (B. stearothermophilus) in the product obtained as a result of carrying out the present invention was cultured during carrying out the present invention.
It hardly dies even when it reaches a high temperature of 70°C, and can be inherited and used continuously as an inoculum for the next batch of raw materials, and as a result of being cultured at high temperatures, the culture is provided as a dry final product. make it possible. As an important characteristic aspect of the present invention, the amount of ferrous sulfate is 1/1000 to 1/1000 of the raw material (organic waste) at the beginning of culture.
Add at a ratio of 1/10000 (weight basis). When chicken meat is used as a raw material, most of the odor is removed as a result of fermentation by this bacterium (B. stearothermophilus), however, until the unpleasant odor unique to chicken meat is completely removed. Not enough. However, the addition of ferrous sulfate according to the invention makes the final product completely odorless (see Table 1). This is the most remarkable effect produced by the present invention.

[Table] In carrying out the present invention, a continuous type fermentation device is convenient for fermenting the organic waste, that is, the fermentation raw material, which has been inoculated with this bacteria and added with ferrous sulfate, and it is convenient to use a continuous type fermentation device once a day or at a fixed time. An apparatus is advantageously used which makes it possible to sequentially feed the raw materials through the inlet of the apparatus and to remove the odorless dry product sequentially from the outlet after a suitable period of fermentation, preferably 6 days. Any device may be used as long as it is suitable for the above embodiment, but in the present invention, it is convenient to use a microorganism continuous culture device devised by the present inventor [Utility Model Publication No. 1410829; Publication of Utility Model No. 1410829]. be. The device of this invention consists of a rotating kiln, the interior of which is divided into a number of vertical chambers by wire mesh walls.
Each center of the front and back of the wire mesh wall has a communication hole, and once every day
The feed material is divided into wire mesh walls, and as the kiln rotates, the feed material sequentially moves through the communication holes with the help of a propeller plate in the rotary kiln, and ferments while passing through all the chambers. After completion of fermentation, the fermented products are taken out from the discharge port at the rear end every day, starting from the first day. When using the device discussed in this invention, the number of wire mesh chambers is normally six,
Fermentation will be completed in 6 days. The size of the rotary kiln must be around 2m or more in diameter.
The appropriate thickness of the material to be fed is about 1 m in the wire mesh chamber. The smaller the amount of food supplied, the lower its height (thickness), which slows the rise in temperature of the product during fermentation, and may make fermentation difficult in winter. In this case, it may be necessary to wrap a heat insulating material around the outside of the kiln, blow hot air, or use a double kiln (using hot water). The kiln rotates 2 to 3 times per hour and continues to rotate at night. Ventilation and temperature control are performed by sending a small amount of air, and a ventilation fan can be installed at the raw material feed port to exhaust the air from the chimney. If the air is too strong, the temperature of the product may drop, so a household ventilation fan is appropriate. Evaporated moisture and odors are exhausted through the chimney, and no water droplets accumulate inside the device.
Generally, the temperature does not rise above 70°C. The product temperature reaches its maximum 3 to 4 days after preparation, and both sterilization and drying effects are achieved. Table 2 shows the product temperature (external temperature 10°C) and the moisture content in the culture when chicken waste is used as the raw material.

[Table] As a result of the addition of ferrous sulfate according to the present invention, oxidation during fermentation is promoted, and all odor components in the raw material are removed, making the raw material odorless. Fermentation breaks down the raw materials and turns large lumps into fine powder. The odorless dry fine powder product of the present invention generally has a moisture content of 35% or less, so it does not stick to the palms of the hands and provides a smooth feeling. Therefore, there is no need to use a disintegrator for fertilizer products. The fertilizer effect of the organic fertilizer product according to the present invention is outstanding, and in many types of plant cultivation, yields are increased by 20 to 30% compared to the case of applying inorganic fertilizers. Furthermore, by using the fertilizer product according to the present invention for three years, it was found that the need for using agricultural chemicals was eliminated and that even if harmful bacteria were attached, they inhibited their propagation. In the above-mentioned Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 56-12958, Example 1 describes an embodiment in which feedstocks consisting of urine and sawdust are mixed with aerobic bacteria of the genus Sydomonas and fermented at a temperature of 33°C. Table 3 shows the results of comparing the case of using the Pseudomonas bacteria and the case of using B. stearothermophilus according to the present invention in terms of chicken waste treatment. However, ferrous sulfate was used in both cases.

[Table] Example A rotary kiln with a diameter of 2.3 m, a length of 11 m, and a volume of 50 m3 is used to feed 5 to 6 tons of chicken meat raw material from the feed port every day [this normally contains around 70% moisture, so Six wire mesh chambers (diameter of communicating holes 0.7 m) each made of wire mesh with a mesh size of 5 cm x 5 cm were used to sequentially feed the metal (no need to add sawdust, etc.) into the wire mesh chamber, and the total feed amount reached 30 tons. . The addition rate of ferrous sulfate to the chicken meat raw material was 3/1000 (by weight). The kiln was rotated 2 to 3 times per hour and operated at night.
After 6 days of fermentation, the contents of the first wire mesh chamber (fermented products) were taken out, and then products were taken out from the second and subsequent wire mesh chambers in sequence every day. The total nitrogen content in the chicken meat raw material was 3.55% at the beginning of feeding, but it decreased to 2.80% at the end of fermentation. The total product yield from the six wire mesh chambers was 18 tons. This product was in the form of a black dry powder and was completely odorless, making it suitable for sale as a fertilizer.
