DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the structure of a cable tray on which one or many cables are installed.

従来、ケーブル火災の消火剤として炭酸ガス。Traditionally, carbon dioxide gas has been used as an extinguishing agent for cable fires.

Inert gases such as halon have been used. However, extinguishing with inert gas cannot remove the heat of the burning material, so
May re-ignite if exposed to air after extinguishing. For this reason, it has recently become recommended to use water to destroy debris or to use water in conjunction with cable fires.

By the way, as shown in FIG. 1, a conventional cable tray is configured such that a cable 10 is supported by a structure 11 made of a steel frame in a ladder shape or a cross-shaped structure. However, with this method, when extinguishing a fire with water, the water flows down, so it is necessary to keep pouring water on the fire, which requires a large amount of water. Furthermore, fire extinguishing water tends to pass only through areas that have already been wet, and tends to remain in areas that are not yet wet, so there is a drawback that fire extinguishing efficiency is low even though a large amount of water is used.

An object of the present invention is to provide a cable tray that saves water and facilitates wetting of all parts of the cable when extinguishing cable fires with water.

本廃明を第2図に示す実施例に従い説明する。The present invention will be explained according to the embodiment shown in FIG.

After the water sprinkled from the sprinkler head 4 wets the cable, it collects in the metal cover 1 without falling to the floor, and the cable 2 is immersed in the water. As a result, it is possible to easily avoid a situation where water flows only in a specific part of the surface of the cable 2 and a certain part is not covered with water at all. Also, since the water is stored, there is no need to keep releasing water for a long time. Cables that have been immersed in water have cooled down and become wet, so even if the water runs out, they will not easily ignite again. Furthermore, enclosing the cable tray with the cover 1 has the effect of preventing the spread of fire caused by surrounding equipment, fixtures, other cable trays, etc.

In the example of FIG. 2, 1 forms part of the cable tray structure, but the effects of the present invention can also be obtained even if a conventional cable tray as shown in FIG. 1 is surrounded by a cover.

If a partition plate like the one shown in Fig. 3/6 is installed in □6□, the amount of water supply will be small and will help prevent the spread of fire. This partition does not necessarily have to be a metal plate, and a penetration filler (such as a non-combustible putty) may be used.
