記形状の間隔保持具はいきおい板厚又は板幅を大
にしなければならず、通常厚さ3mm、幅30mm以上
の鋼板が用いられている。このように板厚が大に
なると、材料費高に加え、プレスによる切起しの
作業性が低下し、型の損耗、切起片のバリ発生が
顕著となる。また、金具本体が全長にわたり一平
面であるため設置時の安定性に欠ける点も見逃せ
ない不利な構造である。
