Windows 2a and 2b are built into a window frame 1 such as an aluminum sash, and a light emitting element 3 and a light receiving element 4 are arranged in the upper part of the window frame 1. Further, shutter mechanisms 5a and 5b are provided at the upper end track portions of the windows 2a and 2b, and an optical fiber 6a is connected between the light emitting element 3 and the shutter mechanism 5a.
An optical fiber 6b is connected between the shutter mechanism 5a and the shutter mechanism 5b, and the optical fiber 6b is connected between the shutter mechanism 5b and the light receiving element 4.
They are optically connected to each other by optical fibers 6c. The light emitting element 3, the light receiving element 4, the shutter mechanisms 5a, 5b, and the optical fibers 6a, 6b are embedded in the window frame 1, and cannot be seen from outside, which is very effective for crime prevention.

In the shutter mechanism 5a, an end face of an optical fiber 6a and an end face of an optical fiber 6b are arranged facing each other with a certain distance between them, and a movable plate 7 is supported in the gap so as to be vertically movable. The movable plate 7 has a flat upper portion and a hemispherical lower portion. The movable plate 7 is positioned downward when the window is opened as shown in FIG. 2a, and at this time, the optical fibers 6a and 6b are optically coupled between their opposing end faces. Therefore, the output light from the light emitting element 3 is transmitted from the optical fiber 6a to the optical fiber 6b, and is input to the light receiving element 4. In the transmission system connecting the light emitting element 3 and the light receiving element 4, the optical shutter mechanisms 5a and 5b are connected in parallel, and when one of the optical shutter mechanisms 5a and 5b is optically coupled, the output light of the light emitting element 3 is is incident on the light receiving element 4.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2b, when the window is closed, the movable plate 7 rises because the upper edge of the window 2a comes into contact with the protrusion and pushes it up, so that the optical fiber 6a and the optical fiber The movable plate 7 interposes the space between the opposing end faces of the member 6b, so that no optical coupling occurs.

The movable plate shown in FIG. 4 has a through hole 8 formed in the light shielding plate part.
is arranged on the opposing surface between the optical fiber 6a and the optical fiber 6b, and optical coupling is performed only through the through hole 8. In a transmission system in which the shutter mechanisms 5a and 5b are connected in series, the window The light receiving element 4 is irradiated with output light only when both 2a and 2b are closed. When one or both windows 2a, 2b are opened, the output light to the light receiving element 4 is blocked.

With the above configuration, an output signal corresponding to light irradiation from the light receiving element 4 can be led to the monitoring point, and the open/closed state of the windows 2a, 2b can be notified.

According to the present invention, the drive of the light emitting element and the detection of the output signal of the light receiving element are composed of an electrical signal system, but the sensor mechanism that connects the light emitting element and the light receiving element is composed of an optical system, and the optical signal is transmitted via an optical fiber. is transmitted, so there is no risk of electrical shock due to electric leakage, and it is safe from intrusion of rainwater, etc. Furthermore, optical fibers are thin and lightweight, making it easy to embed them in aluminum sash or the like. The structure itself is simple and can be manufactured at relatively low cost.

Note that the light emitting element and the light receiving element may not be embedded in the window frame, but may be arranged by extending optical fibers and disposed at the monitoring point. In this case, since there is no electrical wiring near the window frame, a highly reliable system that does not malfunction even with induced noise caused by lightning or the like can be obtained.
