Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible the effective utilization of heat energy and the reduction of heat treatment time by providing a coiler provided with a laying cone, rider holding and lifting mechanism, tentative wire holding mechanism and wire conveying rollers to the inside of a furnace right after a finishing mill. CONSTITUTION:The coiler is provided to the inlet side end of, for example, a holding furnace 1 right after the finishing mill. This device is equipped with the laying cone 2 provided hermetically to a ceiling wall 3 of the furnace 1, the rider holding mechanism 11 thereunder, a cylinder device 5 for moving vertically the same, the tentative wire holding mechanism 11 between the cone 2 and the mechanism 4 and the conveying rollers 6 in the lower part of the furnace inside. The preheated rider 7 is first placed on the mechanism 4 and the mechanism 4 is positioned to the upper limit. The coiling of the wire 8 is then started and the mechanism 4 is successively lowered to maintain the specified spacing between the cone 2 and the top surface of the coil. The next wire is supported by the mechanism 11 and at the same time the mechanism 4 is positioned to the lower limit upon completion of coiling. The rider 7 and the coil are then carried on the rollers 6 and are successively conveyed in the furnace. The preheated rider 7 is conveyed onto the mechanism 4 and the mechanism 4 is positioned to the upper limit. The wire 8 is dropped from the mechanism 11 onto the rider 7.

By the way, conventional methods for heat-treating the wire after winding include continuous heat-treating on a stellmore conveyor;
Alternatively, a method is generally employed in which the material is once cooled after being rolled up, and then reheated and heat treated in a batch furnace or continuous furnace.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, when heat treatment is performed on the former Stelmore conveyor, full-scale heat treatment for a long time is impossible due to the length of the conveyor. In addition, in the latter method, since the coil is cooled once, the heat held by the coil during winding is wasted.
In addition, since it is heated again from a cooled state, there is a drawback that the heat treatment requires a long time.

The present invention is based on the knowledge that if the wire temperature is kept at a certain value during heating, rolling, and winding, and then immediately kept heated, spheroidizing annealing, which conventionally required more than 10 hours, can be performed in a few hours. This is an attempt to solve the drawbacks of the conventional method by arranging a winding device in the furnace immediately after the finishing mill.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, the finish-rolled wire rod can be continuously wound in the furnace while still hot, so the heat held by the wire rod is not wasted, and energy is effectively used. It can be used. Further, in the present invention, the coil that has been cooled is not subjected to heat treatment again, but is wound up while still hot and heat treatment is performed, so that full-scale heat treatment can be performed in a short time. Furthermore, according to the present invention, it is possible to heat-treat the coil without reducing rolling efficiency within the range of the number of coils accommodated in the furnace, and furthermore, it is possible to introduce the wire into the atmospheric gas immediately after rolling is completed. , it becomes possible to manufacture coils with a very small surface scale.
