Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a hair-grower containing a specific higher aliphatic alcohol. CONSTITUTION:A hair tonic having excellent effect compared with conventional hair tonics and absolutely free from hormonic action is obtained by compounding a 22-36C higher aliphatic monohydric alcohol (e.g.docosanol, tetracosanol, hexacosanol, octacosanol, etc.). The above higher aliphatic monohydric alcohol may be the one produced by chemical synthesis or the one extracted from a natural source (e.g. alfalfa, skin of apple, skin of grape, sugar cane, etc.: existing in extremely small amount mainly in vegetable wax). The hair tonic can be used in various bases (e.g. milky lotion, cream, lotion, etc.) and used also in combination of other components having hair tonic effect.

BACKGROUND ART Hair tonics containing various medicinal ingredients have been known for some time. For example, vitamins such as vitamin E, amino acids such as serine and methionine, and vasodilators such as acetylcholine derivatives.

Although hair nourishing agents containing anti-inflammatory agents such as veneer extract are known, none of them truly have a hair nourishing effect and are not fully satisfactory.

It is also known that male pattern baldness and seborrhea are caused by increased stimulation of male hormones due to excessive accumulation of male hormones, and female hormones are used to prevent this. However, it has the disadvantage that it acts systemically as a side effect and has undesirable hormonal effects such as feminization of men.

In view of the above circumstances, the inventor of the present invention, as a result of intensive research, has formulated a higher aliphatic alcohol with a carbon number of 22 or more in order to obtain a hair nourishing agent that does not have hormonal effects, is safe, and has an excellent hair nourishing effect. The inventors have found that the above object can be achieved by doing so, and have arrived at the present invention. That is, the present invention has 22 carbon atoms.
This hair care product is a hair care product containing ~34 higher aliphatic alcohols, has no hormonal action, and has a superior effect to conventional hair care products.

The configuration of the present invention will be explained in detail below.
