For example, when manufacturing towels, a long strip of towel fabric is cut to an appropriate length, both ends of the cut towel fabric are folded into three, and the three folded parts are sewn to finish the process. Unlike paper or wood, terry cloth has no stiffness and is easily deformed, especially when the weft threads are meandering. Therefore, if you simply cut the toweling material, the weft threads will be cut and the weft threads at both ends of the toweling material will become frayed, or even if you sew the towel material, ``hanging'' will occur as you use it, causing it to become diamond-shaped. Problems such as deformation occur.

An example of a device that solves this problem is disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 80603. The outline of this device will be described based on FIGS. 1 to 4. That is, from the pre-cutting state shown in FIG. 1, the sliding frame 124 is first rotated downward as shown in FIG. If it does, then the sliding frame 124 is rotated upward to engage the no-lattice portion 105 with the U-shaped wire 110 as shown in FIG. What is important here is that the lower end of the fabric 104 is simply hanging down, there is nothing to pull it downwards, and the fabric 104 is light and easy to shake, so the non-woven part 105 is connected to the U-shaped wire 110 as described above. Even if you try to engage it, it is difficult to do so. In addition, since the wire 110 is U-shaped and the base is not constricted, even if the wire 110
Even if the weftless portion 105 engages with the wire 110, when the fabric 104 is pulled upward, the weftless portion 105 engages with the wire 110.
It is easy to fall off. Further, the wedge material 152 is for supporting and folding the cut fabric 104, and the weftless portion 105 does not apply tension to the fabric 104 when engaged with the wire 110. In addition, after cutting the longitudinal edge 132, the sliding frame 1
When the sliding frame 12 is rotated upward,
This prevents the fabric 104 from being pulled up by the wire 11.
It does not apply tension to the fabric 104 when engaged. Therefore, as shown in Figure 4,
Fabric 104 is made of movable cutter 115 and fixed cutter 107.
When cutting the wire 110, there is a non-latitude portion 105
This means that the portion where the threads are not engaged will not be cut along the weft thread.

Therefore, the present invention provides a device for aligning the weft threads of towel cloth, etc. in the manufacturing equipment for towels, etc., which solves this problem. The feature is that the weft threads are not present at intervals along the longitudinal direction. An apparatus for producing towels, etc., which pulls out a piece of toweling fabric, etc., has a terry cloth, cuts it into an appropriate length, folds both ends of the cut towel fabric, etc. into three, and sews the three-folded part, which pulls out the towel fabric, etc. A comb tooth for weft alignment consisting of a large number of protrusions provided at appropriately small intervals along a direction perpendicular to the direction of pulling out the toweling material, etc. is provided at a position immediately above the cutting point of the toweling material, etc. on the mounting table on which the toweling material is placed. A lifting plate is disposed in a recess formed above the comb teeth of the mounting table, is rotatable around a horizontal axis, and has its upper surface flush with the upper surface of the mounting table in a horizontal state. , a rotating means for rotating the lifting plate around a horizontal axis is provided, a mounting plate for weights such as terry cloth is arranged on the lifting plate, and the lifting plate and the mounting plate are rotated upward by the rotating means. After gripping the end of the toweling cloth or the like sandwiched between the plates, a pull-out device is provided which pulls out the toweling cloth by rubbing it against the comb teeth and engages the section of the toweling cloth with no weft threads with the comb teeth. Each protrusion of the tooth is formed so that its upper end protrudes further than its lower end.

According to this configuration, the section without weft threads is reliably engaged with the comb teeth by the synergistic action of the pull-out device, the mounting plate, and the upper end of the protruding upper side of the comb teeth, and the section without the engaged weft threads is reliably engaged with the comb teeth. The section does not come off the comb teeth. That is, when the towel fabric or the like is forcibly pulled out by the pull-out device, the mounting plate applies an appropriate weight to the towel fabric or the like. Therefore, the terry cloth or the like is pulled out by rubbing the comb teeth while being appropriately tensioned by the weight of the mounting plate. Therefore, when the weft-free section is placed above the comb teeth, the weft-free section is strongly engaged with the comb teeth. Furthermore, even if the section without weft threads tries to be pulled out from the comb teeth in this state, it will not come out because it will get caught on the upper end of the protruding upper side of the comb teeth. Therefore, there is not a single drop left on each protrusion of the comb teeth. The weft threads are aligned in a straight line. When the cutter is lowered from this state and cut, the toweling fabric or the like is accurately cut along the weft.

In the pull-out cutting section 3, the pull-out device 7 is connected to a chain 16 wound around a pair of sprocket wheels 15, and is movable back and forth in the directions of arrows A and B along a guide rail 17. A substrate 18 along the top surface of the mounting table 2, a rotating plate 19 disposed on the substrate 18, and a cylinder device 20 that rotates the rotating plate 19 to press the substrate 18 into contact with and separate from the top surface. Become. The cutter 8 has a fixed blade 8a arranged in the space of the mounting table 2, and a machine frame 21 above the fixed blade 8a.
It consists of a lifting blade 8b that is raised and lowered by a cylinder 22 fixed to the blade 8b. Reference numeral 23 denotes an aligning device for the towel cloth 1 provided above the cutter 8, which includes a support plate 24 whose upper surface is flush with the upper surface of the mounting table 2;
They are planted on the support plate 24 at regular small intervals along the direction perpendicular to the conveyance directions A and B of the toweling fabric 1, and the upper end 25A of the upper end 25A is the lower end 2 of the upper end 2.
5B (14th
(See figure) Therefore, when the end of the toweling fabric 1 is grabbed by the pull-out device 7 and pulled in the direction of arrow B, the toweling fabric 1 is pulled out of the comb teeth 2.
5 and is pulled, and when the section a without a weft thread comes over the comb teeth 25, the section a without a weft thread fits into the comb teeth 25 and engages because this section a is only a warp thread. , the weft of the next toweling piece 1a located at the upper end of this section a is pushed down along the upper end 25A of the comb teeth 25 to the lower end 25B of the upper end, thereby preventing the toweling material 1 from being pulled out any further. At the same time, the weft threads hit the linear comb teeth 25, so even if the weft threads meander, they are aligned in a straight line. Reference numeral 26 denotes a device for lifting the end of the towel fabric 1, which is provided above the alignment device 23, and includes a lifting plate 2 that is rotatable around a horizontal shaft 27 supported by the mounting table 2.
8, a push-up rod 29 hanging down from the center of the bottom surface of the plate 28, a horizontal rod 30 rotatably supported on the mounting table 2, and a horizontal rod 30 extending from one end of the rod 30 and coming into contact with the bottom surface of the push-up rod 29. Next, the towel manufacturing procedure will be explained based on FIGS. 11 and 12. Note that a in Figure 11
The upper part of ~d shows a plan view, and the lower part shows a side view. First, as shown in FIGS. 11a and 12a, the end of the toweling cloth 1 is positioned near the comb teeth 25, and the pull-out device 7, which is waiting at the ``L'' position, is moved in the direction of the arrow ``A''. Then, when this pull-out device 7 comes near the edge of the toweling fabric 1,
The lifting plate 34 comes into contact with the roller 33 and lifts the roller 33, which causes the lifting plate 28 to rise as shown in FIG. 12b and lift the end of the toweling fabric 1. Then, the end portion of the towel cloth 1 is held between the rotary plate 19 of the pull-out device 7 and the base plate 18.
Next, as shown in FIGS. 11b and 12c, the pull-out device 7 is moved in the direction of arrow B to pull out the toweling 1. Then, this towel cloth 1 has comb teeth 2
It is pulled out beyond 5. Therefore, the sensing plate 3
Even if the tip of the comb teeth 8 is placed on the comb teeth 25, the comb teeth 25 and the sensing plate 38 remain insulated. Next, as shown in FIG. 11c and FIG. 12d, when the toweling fabric 1 is further pulled out by the pull-out device 7, the section a without weft of the toweling fabric 1 comes over the comb teeth 12, and this section a engages with the comb teeth 12. The section a is the upper end 25A of the comb teeth 25 on the upper side.
The toweling material 1 is guided from there to the upper end lower end 25B, and the bottom part follows, thereby preventing the toweling material 1 from being pulled out any further. At the same time, the weft threads come into contact with the linear comb teeth 25, and even if the weft threads meander, they are aligned in a straight line. Then, the sensing plate 38 comes into contact with the comb teeth 12 (see FIG. 5) and the circuit is closed, and as shown in FIG. The pressing plate 48 descends and presses the towel fabric 1 onto the upper surface of the mounting table 2, and the lifting cutter 8b
is lowered to cut the center of the weft-free section a of the toweling fabric 1 along the aligned weft threads. Next, as shown in Fig. 11e, the trolley 44
is moved in the direction of arrow C, and the toweling piece 1a is conveyed to the trifold section 4 while being pressed by the pressing plate 48. Next, as shown in FIG. 11f, the cart 44 is moved in the direction of arrow D and returned, and both ends of the toweling strip 1a are folded into three according to the steps shown in FIGS. 9a to 9c. Next, as shown in FIGS. 9c and 9d, the pressing frame 51 of the second conveying device 11 is lowered to press the trifold portion 12 against the upper surface of the mounting table 2, and the rotating frame 52 is reversely rotated, as shown in FIG. Return to standby position. Next, the cart 44 is moved in the direction of arrow C as shown in FIG. In this state, the end of the toweling piece 1a should be placed below the needle of the sewing machine 14. Next, as shown in FIG. 11h, the holding plate 73 of the clamping device 13 is lowered, and the trifold portion 12 is pressed and clamped against the upper surface of the mounting table 2, as shown in FIG. 9d. Next, the pressing frame 51 is raised and the cart 44 is moved in the direction of arrow D, and the pressing plate 7
A sewing machine 14 sews the tri-folded portion 12 held between the two parts. When the sewing machine 14 sews the three-fold part 12 of the next sent toweling piece 1a after sewing, the toweling piece 1a being sewn is
The cutter 78 cuts the sewing thread that connects the finished toweling piece 1a. The sewn towel is then sent into the receiving box 79 via the chute 80 and rollers 81.

As described above, according to the weft alignment device for towel fabric, etc. in the towel manufacturing apparatus of the present invention, the section with no weft threads is produced by the synergistic action of the pull-out device, the mounting plate, and the upper end of the protruding upper side of the comb teeth. It is capable of being reliably engaged with the comb teeth, and the engaged section without weft threads does not come off from the comb teeth. Therefore, when the section without weft threads is above the comb teeth,
For strength, the weft-free section is brought into engagement with the comb teeth. Furthermore, even if the section without weft threads tries to come out from the comb teeth in this state, it will not come out because it gets caught on the upper end of the protruding upper side of the comb teeth. Therefore, the weft threads can be aligned in a straight line without missing a single drop for each protrusion of the comb teeth. When the cutter is lowered from this state and cut, the toweling fabric or the like is accurately cut along the weft.
