外周を囲む外筒とから成る滅菌容器と、両端をそ
れぞれ上記内筒と外筒とに接続した連通管と、給
蒸管を通じて上記外筒内に高温の水蒸気を送り込
む蒸気発生装置とを有する蒸気滅菌装置に於いて
、上記連通管内で外筒側端部開口近く位置に外筒
内の水蒸気温度を検出する温度検出素子を設け、
給蒸管の途中で上記温度検出素子よりも内筒寄り
部分には、上記温度検出素子が検出する外筒内の
水蒸気温度が一定値以上の場合にのみ開放可能な
弁を設け、連通管の途中でこの弁よりも外筒寄り
部分に一端を接続し途中にトラツプを設けた排出
管の他端は排水管に通じさせたことを特徴とする
