Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a liquid fuel combustion device which always has a superior ignition characteristic and does not produce any odor or CO when ignited by a method wherein a controller for use in controlling ignition or diminishing at a burner part, an ignition sensor part for sensing an ignition of the burner and a post-heating part for operating an ignition heater for a specified period of time when an operation switch is turned on are provided. CONSTITUTION:An ignition heater 8 is energized in simultaneous with a turned ON of an operation switch 13 and preset for a specified period of time. Upon completion of the preheating operation, a fuel valve 19 and a combustion fan 6 are operated, both fuel and air are supplied to the combustion chamber 9 and they are ignited by an ignition heater 8. When the ignition is detected by the flame sensor 10, the ignition heater 8 is deenergized and a normal combustion is performed. When the operation switch 13 is turned OFF, soot or tar or the like adhered around the ignition heater 8 is cleaned under an operation of the post-heating function for use in energizing the ignition heater 8, so that a positive ignition can be performed even with heavy quantity oil such as keroscene or the like and poor keroscene.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, a controller for this type of combustor turns on the operation switch 1f, and at the same time turns on the igniter 2,
The fuel valve 3 and the blower fan 4 are driven, and when the ignition input from the flame sensor 6 is received, the igniter 2 is stopped to continue combustion. When the operation switch 1 is turned off, the fuel valve 3 is stopped and the flame is extinguished and air is blown for a certain period of time. There is a control sequence that has a post-purge function that operates the fan 4. (Jitsukai 49-206
However, in the above sequence, when heavy oil such as light oil is burned as fuel, tar and lint adhere to the vicinity of the igniter, causing ignition. This may cause a non-ignition phenomenon.

Embodiments Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be explained using FIGS. 1 to 3. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 11 indicates a burner section, and reference numeral 6 indicates a combustion fan that supplies combustion air by a motor 18, which is supplied from the fuel supply lower through the small holes a and bi, to the ignition heater 8.
It is mixed with the vaporized fuel, burned in the combustion chamber 9, and flows out from the exhaust port 17. The controller 12 controls the burner section 11 based on the signal from the operation switch 13. Reference numeral 14 indicates a preheat section which sends a signal to the ignition heater drive section 18 for a certain period of time after the operation switch 13 is turned on to energize the ignition heater 8 to preheat it, and then outputs a signal to the fuel control section 15. The fuel control unit 15 drives a fuel valve 19 (or fuel pump) provided in a fuel passage leading to the lower fuel supply 5 . In addition, the ignition detection section 16 is connected to the combustion chamber 9.
The presence or absence of combustion is detected based on a signal from a flame sensor 10 that detects combustion. The combustion fan 6 operates upon receiving a rotation control signal for the motor 16 from the controller 12.

次にコントローラの動作を第2図と共に説明していく。Next, the operation of the controller will be explained with reference to FIG.

When the operation switch 13 is turned off, the fuel valve 19 is closed and the burner is extinguished. At this time, the ignition heater 8 is energized again, and the process shifts to post-heating for a certain period of time. The post purge serves to burn off all unburned fuel in the combustion chamber 9 and burn off soot and tar adhering to the vicinity of the ignition heater 8. In the sixth vane embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a fuel absorbing material (wick) 20 is provided around the ignition heater 8 in order to improve the ignition of the fuel, but the boss heating section is leaning. Further, in the embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the combustion fan 6 is also driven at the same time during post-heating, and the exhaust inside the combustion chamber 9 and the burner 11 are also cooled as a post-purge.

FIG. 3 shows the operation of the controller 12 in a flowchart. Here, as explained in FIG. 2, post purge is simultaneously performed in the post heat section. In addition, even if the ignition detection unit 16 misfires for some reason during normal operation, or if there is no ignition, the boss heat unit 17
Although the configuration is such that the transition is made to the above, it may be changed depending on the performance of the burner 11.

In this embodiment, the fuel valve 19 is used, but this may be a fuel pump, and the fuel control section 7 15 may be used to control on/off of the pump. Furthermore, the same effect can be obtained even if the operation switch is operated via some other switch (for example, a time switch) without directly turning it on and off.

(1) With the post-heat function that energizes the ignition heater 8 every time the operation switch 13 is turned off, the area around the ignition heater 8 is cleaned of dirt, tar, etc., so even heavy oil such as light oil or bad kerosene can be reliably cleaned. The ignition heater 8 can be ignited and the life and reliability of the ignition heater 8 can be increased.

(2) When extinguishing a fire, all the remaining oil in the combustion chamber is burned off, so there is a strong odor from the gas, and -carbon oxide (

(3) If residual oil remains in the combustion chamber 9 at the time of ignition, it may cause generation of white smoke or explosion and ignition due to excess fuel. In addition, the latent heat of vaporization that electrifies the residual oil wastes the heat of the ignition heater 8, prolonging the preheating time. However, in the configuration of the present application, there is no residual oil due to the boss heat, so the ignition can be safely ignited, and the preheating time is short and the preheating time is low. Becomes a controller.
