Laminated timber such as laminated timber and fritsch were manufactured in the following way. That is,
It was manufactured by applying an adhesive to one side of a veneer of material such as a rotary veneer or sliced veneer, and then stacking and gluing multiple veneers so that one side of the material veneer faces the same direction. However, in this case, the surface to which the adhesive was applied absorbs the water contained in the adhesive, causing the material veneer to warp, resulting in poor workability during lamination bonding.

This invention was made in view of the above circumstances, and is a method of manufacturing laminated wood by laminating and bonding a plurality of veneers of material. The first point is to apply the agent and water to the other side to balance the water absorption on both sides of the veneer and eliminate warping of the veneer, and then apply it to the other side of the material veneer. The second gist is to improve the adhesion speed of veneer material by mixing a hardening agent with water, and the adhesive is made by dividing the required amount of hardening agent and applying a portion of it to one side of the veneer material in advance. The remaining part is mixed with the water applied to the other side of the material veneer to improve the mixing state of the adhesive and hardener when laminating the material veneers and prevent uneven curing. The third point is to do so.

The first method of this invention is to apply a water-based adhesive to one side of such a veneer and apply water to the other side to balance the water absorption on both sides and suppress the occurrence of warping of the veneer. In this state, for example, the material veneers are laminated and bonded so that one side faces in the same direction, thereby efficiently manufacturing laminated wood such as laminated wood or fritsch. The water-based adhesive used at this time is
In addition to water-based emulsion adhesives in which adhesives are emulsified in water, various types of adhesives with high water content can be used. Furthermore, any method may be used to apply the water-based adhesive and water. For example, spray

In this way, this method applies a water-based adhesive to one side of the material veneer and water to the other side to balance the water absorption on both sides of the material veneer and eliminate warping of the veneer. This makes it easier to manufacture laminated wood. In particular, when making fritches in this way and slicing the fritches to produce decorative veneers, the moisture content of the fritches is reduced due to the material veneer whose moisture content has increased due to the application of water-based adhesive and water. Because of the improvement, its slicing becomes easier.

The second method of the present invention is to mix a curing agent into the water applied to the other side of the veneer material. The curing agent here refers to those that accelerate the curing reaction of adhesives, such as ammonium chloride used in urea adhesives, and amines used in epoxy adhesives, as well as polyisocyanates (main agent). It also includes substances that themselves participate in the curing reaction, such as the polyhydric alcohol in a two-component urethane adhesive consisting of a polyhydric alcohol and a polyhydric alcohol.

In this way, in this method, the water-based adhesive is applied to one side of the material veneer, and water mixed with the hardening agent is applied to the other side, so that the water-based adhesive and the hardening agent are applied separately. Compared to the case where a hardening agent is mixed in advance with a water-based adhesive and then applied, the pot life of the adhesive is longer and the increase in viscosity of the adhesive before lamination can be suppressed. , the production of laminated wood becomes easier. especially,
If you use a water-based adhesive that hardens on its own, such as a urea-based adhesive, and use a hardening agent that accelerates the hardening reaction, when laminating material veneers, the hardening agent will cause the adhesive to bond. Since the curing reaction of the agent is accelerated, the production speed of laminated wood is increased.

A third method of the present invention is to mix a necessary amount of a part of the curing agent in advance with the adhesive applied to one side of the material veneer, and mix the remainder with the water applied to the other side.

In other words, this method improves the mixing state of the adhesive and curing agent when laminating the material veneers by mixing a part of the curing agent into the adhesive in advance, and the adhesive and curing agent are mixed together. This is to prevent uneven curing by uniformly mixing the ingredients.
