テイキユレートフイルタを示す断面図、第３図は
、第２図のパテイキユレートフイルタにおける上
流側フイルタと下流側フイルタの間隔と再生効率
との関係を示すグラフ、第４図は、上記装置によ
る触媒溶液噴射制御作動を示すフローチヤート、
第５図は、上記装置での排気ガス量制御作動を示
すフローチヤート、第６図は、触媒溶液の噴射回
数に対する噴射量を決定するための特性図である
。 １…エンジン、３…渦流室、６…排気通路、８
…噴射器、９…触媒タンク、１０…噴射ノズル、
１３…排気バイパス通路、２４…背圧センサ、３
０…パテイキユレートフイルタ、３１…上流側フ
イルタ、３２…下流側フイルタ。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 排気系に可燃性粒子などを捕集するパテイキユ
    レートフイルタを備えたエンジンの排気ガス浄化
    装置において、 前記パテイキユレートフイルタの上流に前記可
    燃性粒子の燃焼を促進させる溶液を噴射供給する
    噴射器を設けるとともに、前記パテイキユレート
    フイルタを上流側フイルタと下流側フイルタとに
    分割し、 該上流側フイルタを海綿状タイプフイルタによ
    つて形成し、 前記下流側フイルタを、前記上流側フイルタよ
    り目の細かい多孔質材料よりなるハニカム体にお
    ける多数のハニカム孔の両端開口部の一方を交互
    に閉塞して上記排気ガスをハニカム孔の隔壁を通
    過させるようにしたウオールフロータイプフイル
    タによつて形成したことを特徴とするエンジンの
    排気ガス浄化装置。
