Traditionally, when a fire breaks out on a train in a railway tunnel,
The best method was to simply run the train through the tunnel, evacuate passengers from the train, and then carry out full-scale extinguishing operations with support from fire departments and other agencies.

However, in a long tunnel such as the Seikan Tunnel, which is 54km long, there is a risk that the fire will spread before the train escapes from the tunnel using its own blades, making it impossible for the train to run on its own. In such a case, it was considered to be a serious problem in terms of securing human life, as it would be impossible to escape from the tunnel by using transfer due to the slope in an undersea tunnel with a ship-bottom linear structure.

This invention provides a nozzle for cooling and extinguishing the space inside the tunnel and trains by discharging extinguishing agent or fire extinguishing water toward the tunnel floor at the upper part of the side wall of the tunnel in a long railway tunnel, and a nozzle diagonally upward at the lower part of the side wall of the tunnel. A nozzle is installed at the center of the track on the tunnel floor to suppress the fire under the train floor by discharging extinguishing agent or extinguishing water, and to guide and control the smoke rising along the side of the train toward the tunnel side wall to the opposite side of the train. The system is equipped with a fire extinguishing system equipped with a nozzle that discharges extinguishing agent or extinguishing water upward to extinguish fires under the train floor.

[Embodiment] An embodiment of the fire extinguishing system of the present invention will be described below in Figures 1 to 3.
This will be explained using figures. Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of the front tunnel.
Reference numeral 11 indicates a main pile on which the train runs, reference numeral 12 indicates a working shaft which is also used as an evacuation route in the event of an emergency, and reference numeral 13 is a slanted shaft connected to the ground and used together with the working shaft 12 as an evacuation route and as a ventilation shaft. 14.15 is a fixed point set up in the tunnel, and is a point where the train will be stopped in case of an emergency such as a fire breaking out on the train. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the fire extinguishing system installed at this fixed point, and Fig. 3 is a side sectional view thereof, where A is a nozzle installed at a predetermined distance of 4 inches on the upper part of the tunnel side wall.

This nozzle A discharges extinguishing agent or extinguishing water (hereinafter simply referred to as extinguishing water) toward the tunnel floor to cool the tunnel space and extinguish flames rising upward, as shown in Figure 4. Spiral 41 and nozzle body 42
It consists of Nozzles B are provided at predetermined intervals at the lower part of the tunnel side wall. This nozzle B discharges fire extinguishing water diagonally upward, that is, under the train floor, suppresses the fire force under the train floor, and further controls smoke rising along the side of the train tunnel side wall to the opposite side of the train. As shown in FIG. 5, the fire extinguishing water collides with the upper deflector 51 and is discharged in a fan shape. C is a head provided at a predetermined interval in the center of the track. This head C is a nozzle that extinguishes the fire by discharging fire extinguishing water upwards, that is, to the location of the fire under the train floor. As shown in FIG. Discharge a thin stream of fire extinguishing water directly above. Also, the communication hole 64. Fire extinguishing water with large particles is discharged far away through the outer cylinder 62 and the deflector 65, and is configured to spray water under the train floor in a rectangular shape.

次にこの発明の消火装置の作用を説明する。Next, the operation of the fire extinguishing system of the present invention will be explained.

When a fire breaks out under the floor of a train running in a tunnel and the fact is reported to the train driver, the driver stops the train at the nearest fixed point 14 or 15. When the driver or the like activates the fire extinguishing system using a control panel (not shown) installed near the walking path 21 or by remote control from the disaster prevention center, fire extinguishing water is released from head A to the top of the train, causing flames to rise. extinguish the fire and cool the space.

In the above embodiment, the row in the submarine tunnel -
Although we have explained the fire extinguishing system for car fires, it can also be used in mountain tunnels and underground railway tunnels. Furthermore, if the type of train traveling through these tunnels is a car train, there is a possibility that a fire may occur in the cars on board. In that case, if aqueous film foam is used as the extinguishing agent, the foam emitted from head A will extinguish the burning car, and heads C and B will extinguish the fire caused by fuel oil leaking from the car. Ru. Further, in the above embodiment, the fire extinguishing device of the present invention is provided in a predetermined area of the tunnel, that is, at a fixed point, but the fire extinguishing device of the present invention may be provided throughout the entire tunnel.
