Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a tape of good electrical conductivity and adhesivity useful for corrosionproof application to iron/steel products, by providing protrusions on the single side of corrosionproof metal plate with pressure-sensitive adhesive coated on said side. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a metal plate (e.g. made of zinc) 1 of pref. 50-200mu thick is provided with protrusions 2 when subjected, for example, to rolling, followed by coating or the surface pressure-sensitive adhesive 3 (e.g., of rubber-base) with a thickness, pref. 10-50mu, thus obtaining the objective tape. Said protrusions 2 are pref. of 30-70mu high, being provided at intervals of 20-50mm so as to come into contact with body 4 to be protected by penetrating through the adhesive layer to effect sticking.

Of these, the ones in FIGS. 5 and 6 show aspects of the above-mentioned known zinc foil anticorrosive tape, in which adhesive 3 is placed at intervals on a metal plate 1 such as a zinc foil, It is applied in such a way that the space between them is left unpainted, and when it is applied to the object 4 to be protected from corrosion, the unpainted part of the metal plate 1 comes into direct contact with the object 4 to be protected, and continuity is maintained at the contact area 6. It turns out.
゛Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, although these conventional anti-corrosion methods can provide an anti-corrosion function, they still have the following problems.

Means for Solving the Problems As a result of examining various means for solving the above-mentioned problems, the inventors of the present invention have found that corrosion protection can be achieved by providing protrusions on at least one side of the metal plate on the side to which the adhesive is applied. The present invention was made based on the discovery that the conductivity and adhesive properties of the tape can be significantly improved.

1 and 2 show an example of the structure of the anticorrosion tape of the present invention. In FIG. 0, l is a metal plate, 3 is an adhesive, and the metal plate 1 is made of aluminum. Metals or alloys that are electrochemically active with respect to iron can be used, such as zinc, magnesium, manganese, chromium, titanium, or alloys thereof.

Moreover, as the type of adhesive 3, those having excellent water resistance and electrolytic corrosion resistance such as rubber-based, vinyl-based, epoxy-based, and bituminous-based adhesives are suitable.

Furthermore, in these figures, protrusions 2 are provided on the adhesive 3 coated surface of the metal plate 1. These protrusions 2 can be provided when processing the metal plate 1 such as rolling, and the protrusions 2 cover the layer of adhesive 3 when adhering to the object 4 to be protected from corrosion as shown in FIG. The metal plate 1 penetrates and comes into contact with the object 4 to be protected from corrosion at the contact portion 6, so that the metal plate 1 can maintain conduction with the object 4 to be protected.

In addition, since the metal plate 1 provided with such protrusions 2 can be coated with the adhesive 3 in a normal adhesive coating process, there is no need for complicated processes such as forming uncoated areas as in the prior art. . Moreover, since the protrusion 2 can maintain sufficient contact with the object 4 to be protected from corrosion, conductivity can be ensured without any problem.

Although not shown, it is of course possible that the protrusions 2 are on both sides of the metal plate l. However, in any case, the point is that if the protrusion 2 is provided at least on the side where the adhesive 3 is applied,
Sufficient electrical conductivity can be obtained even when anti-corrosion tape is layered.

On the other hand, as a comparative example, a similar experiment was conducted using a zinc plate anti-corrosion tape with a thickness of 0.1 m +++ coated with a rubber adhesive to a thickness of 30 tiles and a width of 50 mm, with a shape corresponding to the conventional one shown in Fig. 5. However, if local dirt or a bent part comes into contact with an uncoated area of the adhesive, conductivity may be lost.
