[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to the floor structure of the tail cab of a freight vehicle. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the number of connecting components of the front cross member, main sill, and cab hinge bracket, and to reduce the number of welding points. This not only improves cost and productivity, but also improves the strength and rigidity of the joint.

That is, the front cross member 11 and the main sill 5 are connected by spot and arc welding using an upwardly U-shaped stiffener 12 having a flange 12a on the upper surface and a flange 12b on the end surface in a vertical plane of the front cross member 11. Then, a reinforcing connecting member 13 perpendicular to the connecting corner is connected, the tip of the main sill 5 is fitted and welded to the stiffener 12, and a downward U-shaped cab hinge bracket 10 is attached to the lower surface of the stiffener 12. The main sill 5 and the cab hinge bracket 10 are sandwiched between the stiffener 12 and the main sill 5 and the cab hinge bracket 10, and are fastened together with weld nuts and bolts. Further, the stiffener 12 and the front cross member 11 are joined by arc welding using a connecting member 14 bent into a hook shape for joint reinforcement, and a connecting member 15 is used to connect the stiffener 12 and the cab hinge bracket 10 between the sides. They are joined by arc welding.

It requires several parts, and is made up of seven parts in total. Although the joint between the main sill 5 and the front cross member 11 requires strength and rigidity, the number of parts required for this purpose is too large, making it difficult to reduce weight and cost, and requiring many welding points. There was a problem with productivity.

The front cross member 11 forms a rearwardly convex protruding surface 11a on its longitudinal surface. A flange 5b formed at the tip of the main sill 5 is brought into contact with this protruding surface 11a and connected by spot welding. Next, a pair of reinforcing members 16 are joined to both sides of the main sill 5 by spot welding. This reinforcing member 16 has a flange 16a formed on its entire circumferential surface, and has a flange 16a formed on the protruding surface 1 of the front cross member 11.
An uneven surface portion 16b that fits along the front cross member 1a is formed, and this uneven surface portion 16b is also joined to the protruding surface 11a of the front cross member 11 by spot welding. Further, a downward U-shaped cab hinge bracket 10 is connected between the lower surface of the main sill 5 and the inner surfaces of both reinforcing members 16 by spot welding.

As described above, the present invention has four components including the front cross member 11, main sill 5, cab hinge bracket 10, and reinforcing member 16.
It is composed of three parts, and compared to the conventional structure described above, three parts have been reduced. In addition, spot welding is sufficient for all parts to be joined, and conventional arc welding is omitted, improving productivity and reducing costs.

Further, reinforcing members 16 are coupled to both sides of the main sill 5 whose end face is coupled to the front cross member 11 by the flange 5b, and the reinforcing members 16 are connected to the protruding surface 11 formed on the front cross member 11.
Since the front cross member 11 is connected to the front cross member 11 in a concave-convex manner with the concave-convex surface 16b, the strength and rigidity of not only the front cross member 11 itself but also the joint portion is ensured.
