Abstract

PURPOSE:To control an air conditioner from a distant position by sonic waves such as clapping of hand and whistling without using any kind of transmitters, by starting and stopping the air conditioner by intermittently feeding the arbitrary number of sonic waves into a controller within a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:Sonic wave signals are put into a microphone 5 and are converted into electrical signals. The signals are amplified by an amplifying circuit 6, and are converted into digital signals by a wave-forming circuit 7. Those signals are put into both counter 8 and counter controlling circuit 10. When the first signal is input, reset release signals (RS) are output by the counter controlling circuit 10 to the counter 8 in a predetermined time TZ, and the counter 8 starts counting. When the counter input signals (IC) are input three times in the counter 8 within the time, that is the time obtained by subtracting a delay time TL by a delay circuit from the reset release signals TZ, a counter output signal (OC) or a main operating signal is output from the counter 8, and is put into a delay circuit 9. If there are no counter input signals within the time TL, a main operating signal is output to a controlling circuit.

A conventional air conditioner has a configuration as shown in the block diagram shown in Fig. 6, and the remote controller 1 is connected to the control circuit 3 of the air conditioner 2 and is not used much except for daily main operations (start and end of operation). In addition, when using a wired remote control, you have to go to the remote control when you want to operate it. Also, with a wireless remote control, you have the disadvantage of dropping it, causing it to malfunction, or losing it.

First, a sound wave signal, such as the sound of a hand clapping, enters the microphone 5 and is converted into an electrical signal. Since this signal is weak, it is amplified by an amplifier circuit 6, passes through a waveform shaping circuit 7, and is converted into a digital signal there.

If we assume that the number of signal inputs n that the receiving circuit 4 operates is three times, this signal is input to the counter 8 and the counter control circuit 10, as shown in FIG. 3, and when the first signal is input,
A reset release signal is output from the counter control circuit 10 to the counter 8 for a certain period of time T, and the counter 8 starts counting. When the counter input signal is input three times within the time period obtained by subtracting the delay time TL caused by the delay circuit from the reset release time T, the counter 8 outputs an output signal, that is, the main operation signal, and inputs it to the delay circuit 9. . In the delay circuit 9, when a main operation signal is input, it is delayed by T&waiting time. T1
If there is no counter input signal within the time, a main operation signal is output to the control circuit 3. If there are four or more counter inputs within T1 time as shown in Figure 4, the counter will be reset and the main operation signal will no longer be output, so the receiver output will not be output even after 12 hours, preventing malfunctions. It's a monkey. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, if the counter input is less than three times, the counter power is not output, so this also does not work. The width T6 of the counter input signal changes in proportion to the length of the input sound wave signal, and the minimum width is determined. Therefore, continuous sound, fast intermittent sound wave input, etc. will not work if the counter input is long (time peak number ζ 3 times and no one is present.) Even slow intermittent sound wave input will not work because no one is present 3 times within the time. According to this embodiment, the air conditioner can be turned on and off by simply clapping hands without using a transmitter from a distant place, and malfunctions caused by sounds other than the sound of clapping hands can be prevented. There is.
