Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled feed having physical properties wherein the feed partly floats on the surface of the water and partly settles and refloats when the feed is fed to aquarium fish, obtained by humidifying a feed raw material, kneading it at high temperature under high pressure, and extruding it to a normal pressure part in a specific ratio of expansion. CONSTITUTION:A feed raw material consisting of an animal raw material such as fish meal, etc., a vegetable raw material such as defatted soybean, etc. a vitamin, mineral, etc. is humidified into preferably 20-40wt% water content, and extruded by a twine-screw extruder, etc. at high temperature under high pressure. Then, it is extruded into a normal pressure part in a ratio of expansion of 1-1.3, and usually it is cut into <=2mm particle diameter, to give the aimed feed.

Conventionally, as emergency ornamental feed for goldfish, Nishikigoi, etc., it has been thought that if you feed them in a pond, if they sink, you won't be able to see them, so it has been thought that feed that has the physical property of staying afloat for a long time is best. Ta. For example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 44-7067 discloses a floating molded feed for fish farming, but this is intended for general fish farming, and the structure of the feed has a consolidated layer on the outer periphery and It has a porous structure and can float for 20 to 25 hours at normal water temperatures. However, when looking at the eating habits of goldfish, small colored carp, etc., these ornamental fish normally eat things that are floating, but they often eat things that are sinking or sinking in the water, and all of their feed is long. Staying aloft for hours is not necessarily good feed. Moreover, when keeping ornamental fish in an aquarium at home, there is no need for the feed to remain on the surface for a long time; from the viewpoint of the ornamental fish's eating habits and the perspective of viewing it, some of it will float, and some of it will sink and then resurface. Feed physical properties are required. However, feed with such physical properties has not been previously known.

As mentioned above, the present invention takes into account the feeding habits of goldfish, small colored carp, etc., and also provides physical properties of feed that simply floats for a long time when feeding ornamental fish and enjoying it while observing the feeding status. Rather, the object of the present invention is to solve a method for producing an ornamental emergency feed with a particle size of 2 fl or less, in which a portion of the feed has the property of floating and a portion of the feed has the physical property of resurfacing after settling.

The present invention was developed as a result of various research aimed at obtaining ornamental emergency feed with a particle size of 2 ml or less and having the above-mentioned physical properties.
If the humidity of feed raw materials is adjusted and kneaded under high temperature and high pressure, and then extruded into a normal pressure section so that the swelling ratio is within the range of 1.0 to 1.3, it is possible to produce a feed material with the above-mentioned physical properties. It was discovered that feed could be obtained, and the present invention was completed based on this finding.

That is, when producing emergency feed for ornamental use with a particle size of 2fi or less, the present invention adjusts the humidity of feed ingredients and kneads them at high temperature and high pressure so that the swelling ratio is within the range of 1.0 to 1.3. This is a method for producing emergency ornamental feed, which is characterized by extruding the feed into a normal-pressure area, and the purpose is that when the feed is administered to ornamental fish, some of it floats on the water surface, and some of it settles and then An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an ornamental feed that maintains the physical property of resurfacing.

At this time, if the moisture content is less than 20%, there will be too little moisture and the extrusion molding will be scorched or expanded too much, and if the moisture content is more than 40%, it will not be possible to achieve the desired swelling rate in extrusion molding. Next, the humidity-adjusted raw material mixture is heated at a high temperature, e.g., 80 to 150°C, and a high pressure, e.g.
Knead at ~25ksr/aJ, extrude through the pores of the die to a normal pressure section so that the swelling ratio is within the range of 1.0 to 1.3,
Cut the extruded material into pieces of 2 mm or less using a cutter.

At this time, if the swelling rate is 1.3 times or more, all of the ornamental emergency feed that has been made will float to the surface, and if the swelling rate is 1.3 times or more,
.. If it is less than 0, the ornamental emergency feed will disintegrate in water or will settle entirely, so adjust the amount of water added to the raw material, temperature, and pressure appropriately to make the raw material mixture until the swelling ratio is 1.0. It is preferable to extrude it to the normal pressure part so that it is within the range of ~1°3.

The ornamental emergency feed obtained by the above manufacturing method has a particle size of 2.
Although it is less than 1 cup of feed, the swelling rate in volume is 1°θ to 1.3 compared to the raw material treatment mixture, so it can be thrown to goldfish, small colored carp, and other ornamental fish. When feeding, some of the feed floats up in the water1, and some of it sinks and resurfaces, making it a feed that is suitable for the eating habits of ornamental fish. It has the effect of allowing you to have fun while doing it.

Example 1 After mixing the raw materials in the proportions shown in Table 1 in a mixer,
The moisture content of the raw material mixture was adjusted to approximately 30% by adding water and steam. Next, this raw material mixture was put into an extruder and kneaded at high temperature (approximately 115° C.) and high pressure (approximately 15 kg/ant), and then passed through a die with a hole diameter of 1.4 to an atmospheric pressure section with an expansion ratio of 1. It was extruded to a size within the range of 0 to 1.3, and then cut into pieces of 2 cubes or less using a rotary cutter. This cut material is dried in a ventilation dryer to remove moisture of 1
