Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the service by giving an incoming call directly to a specific telephone set when a prescribed residence call number and residence limit time exceed. CONSTITUTION:A call signal is received by an incoming trunk 11 and incoming display/incoming buzzer are raised on an attendant board 13. The attendant board 13 compares the residence call number and the residence elapsed time with predetermined numeral and the exceeded residence call is detected by a discrimination function section 2. When the presence of a residence call is detected, an incoming processing section 4 is executed directly. When a specific telephone set 5 responds to it, a talking processing section 5 is subject to control, the telephone set 15 is connected to the incoming trunk 11, where processing 6 such as response/transfer/recall is attained.

Normally, when installing relay stations, the appropriate number is determined based on call volume predictions or past results. If there are too many, it will be uneconomical, and if there are too few, it will be inefficient. In particular, it is necessary to respond quickly to incoming commercial calls. Therefore, it is desired to develop a means to operate with the minimum number of devices possible and to enable incoming connection when the number of accumulated calls exceeds a predetermined limit.

Conventional relay stations usually have a stagnant call display device, and the operator looks at this display while handling the call and requests assistance from other operators depending on the situation. Therefore, you may not be able to respond quickly and cause trouble to the other party whose response is delayed. Another drawback was that support could not be provided if there were no spare relay stations.

In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional art, the present invention provides a connection that connects the incoming call within a time that does not cause discomfort to the caller when a stuck call occurs at the relay console, and enables answering, forwarding, etc. The purpose is to provide a method.

[Means for Solving Problem C] According to the present invention, this purpose is to compare the retention time of each retained call or the number of retained calls at a relay console with a predetermined value in an exchange equipped with a relay console. This is achieved by providing a relay stand call termination connection system characterized in that when the comparison result exceeds a set value, the pending call is directly terminated at a predetermined specific telephone.

In other words, a predetermined number of stuck calls or a limit time for stuck calls is set in advance, and the set value If the number of calls exceeds the limit, the system is configured so that each called party automatically receives the call directly to a specific telephone set, so that responses, transfers, etc. by specific called parties can be quickly processed.

The figure shows a flowchart for explaining the operation of the automatic direct call termination system of the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 1 indicates processing during display of an incoming call on the central office line, in which a calling signal is received by the trunk 11, and the relay stand 13 displays an incoming call and sounds an incoming buzzer. The relay stand 13 compares the number of retained calls and the elapsed retention time with predetermined values, and the determination function unit 2 detects a retained call that exceeds the set number of calls or exceeds the set retention limit time. When there are no pending calls, the normal processing unit 3 is used and the operator calls the handler trunk 1 in the order of arrival.
Response processing is possible via 2. However, when the determining function section 2 detects that there is a retained call, the incoming call processing section 4 is directly executed. In other words, when the number of accumulated calls exceeds a predetermined number, the earliest accumulated call is sent in the order of arrival, and the accumulated calls that exceed the retention limit time are sent to the ringing signal trunk 1 via the incoming trunk 11 in the order of arrival.
4 to cause a predetermined specific telephone 15 to ring. When the called party on the specific telephone 15 picks up the receiver, the call processing unit 5 takes control and the telephone 15 is connected to the incoming trunk 11. The called party then uses the telephone 15 to perform processing 6 such as answering, transferring, and recalling.

As explained in detail above, according to the incoming call connection method of the present invention, there is no possibility that more than a certain number of calls will be held up, and the caller will not be kept waiting for more than a certain period of time, thereby improving the service. Sufficient response is possible even in the event of abnormal traffic.
