する。図は本考案の実施例による水中使用油浸電
気装置の側面断面図である。図において1は開閉
動作を行う電気装置2を収納する油入容器であ
り、上部に注油栓3、下部に水抜き栓4を備えて
いる。また容器1のいずれかの壁面に容器外の水
と容器内の油とに接し、容器内の油の熱膨張を吸
収する均圧装置5が取付けられている。容器1の
最上部には先端に差圧弁6を取付けた逆U字状の
ガス抜きパイプ7が容器壁を貫通して取付けられ
ている。電気装置の油中での開閉は容易でありア
ークも切れ易くなるが開閉の際のアークによつて
ガスが発生する。このガスは容器上部に滞溜し、
ガス抜きパイプ7内の空所に集まる。ガス量が増
加し、これを容器内に溜めたままにしておくと油
面を圧して油を均圧装置より押し出そうとし均圧
装置に負担をかけるので、このガスを適宜放出し
て油の圧力を常に水圧とバランスさせるためにガ
ス抜きパイプ7が設けられている。電気装置2を
収納した容器1にガス抜きパイプ7に空気を残し
たまま油を充填する。容器を水中に沈めると、容
器外の水圧の上昇につれて容器内の油の圧力も上
昇し、ガス抜きパイプ7の中の空気は油の圧力と
等しくなるまで圧縮され外部の水圧とバランスを
保つ。差圧弁6は内外に圧力差を生じた時に開と
なるもので、内外圧力がバランスした状態では閉
となつている。容器を水中に沈めた状態で電気装
置が動作すると、発生したアークガスが容器上部
に滞溜しガス抜きパイプ内に入り油面を圧するの
でパイプ7内のガス圧は水圧より高くなり差圧弁
6が動作してガスは容器外に放出される。ガスが
放出されれば内部圧力は低下し差圧弁が閉じ再び
ガス抜きパイプ内のガスは水圧とバランスするよ
うになるが、差圧弁が閉じ終るまでの間に多少の
