Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of water reliably when washing a car, by providing a water blocking section at the outside of a sealing member arranged to stride over the joint of back door glass and back door panel upon closing of door. CONSTITUTION:A fixing wall 18 is secured through a clip 19 to the back door panel 3 and tightened together with the back door glass 2 through a bolt 23 under the state where a spacer rubber 14 is held between the back door panel 3 and back door glass 2. The spacer rubber 14 will cover the lower end face 9 of back door glass 2 with the horizontal wall 16 of water blocking section 15 while cover the opposite side sections of inflated section 7 with the vertical wall 17, thereby the joint 10 of back door panel 3 and back door glass 2 is completely shielded from the outside.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a seal 41 structure for a bank door, and particularly to a seal structure of a type in which a bank door is formed of a back door glass and a bank door panel provided below the back door glass.

For example, as shown in FIG. 1, there is a back door 1 for an automobile in which the upper part of the bank door 1 is formed of a back door glass 2 and the lower part is formed of a bank door panel 3a made of a steel plate (for example, as shown in FIG. 1). However, in order to improve the loadability of luggage, etc., a structure has been considered in which the center portion of the back door panel 3 extends above the bumper 24, as shown in FIG. In this case, the back door panel 3 has an outer panel 4 and an inner panel 5 whose peripheral edges are hemmed, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.

The inner panel 5 is formed to have a closed cross-sectional structure, and the inner panel 5
The lower end surface 9 of the bank door glass 2 is positioned on the upper end opening 8 of this bulged part 7, and this joint part 1 is formed into a bulge.
After adjusting the thickness of the spacer rubber 11 so that the bulging part 7 and the back door glass 2 are connected on the same plane at 0, the back door glass 2 and the spacer rubber 11 are fixed to the bank door panel 3 (pol) 23.

On the other hand, the bank door opening of the vehicle body is opened in approximately the same shape as the bank door 1, and as shown in FIGS. An elastic seal was formed with the periphery of the rear side of the door 1 to maintain moisture inside the vehicle interior. In addition, 12A

By the way, in this type of seal structure, since the weather strip 12 extends all the way to the hanging portion 6 of the back door panel 3, the weather strip 12 extends to the joint 10 of the back door glass 2 and the bulging portion 7 of the back door panel 3. I
The J-tube 12 will be sealed in a straddling state. As a result, for example, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a gap 13 is created in the joint 10 due to installation errors between the back door glass 2 and the bank door panel 3 and molding errors of the back door panel 3. In such a case, the IJ knob 12 cannot close the gap t[13t], so the interior of the vehicle and the outside of the vehicle will communicate through the gap 13t. Therefore, the joint 10t-
If it is directly hit by water spray, water will flow into the gap 13,
There was a problem in that the water could penetrate beyond the 12-tread length of the weather strip and into the passenger compartment.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and its purpose is to improve the sealing performance at the joint between the back door glass and the back door panel,
Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a sealing structure for a back door that can reliably prevent water from entering a vehicle interior.

The gist of the present invention is that a back door is formed by a back door glass and a back door panel fixed to the lower part of the back door glass, and the opening edge of the vehicle body is opened to approximately correspond to the shape of the back door. A sealing structure for a back door comprising: a seal member provided between a seal material and a peripheral edge of the back door; and a seal material disposed so as to straddle the joint between the back door glass and the back door panel when the back door is closed; The reason is that a water-blocking part is provided on the outside of the sealing member.

In one embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS. 5 to 9, a spacer bar 14 interposed between the back door panel 3 and the bank door glass 2 is formed in substantially the same shape as the bank door panel 3. At both sides of the lower end, there is a joint 1of formed between the lower end surface 9 of the bank door glass 2 and the lower end surface 8 of the bulge 7 in the back door panel 3.
A pair of water shielding parts 15 are provided.

Further, in the above embodiment, a second horizontal wall 22 sandwiched between the left and right mounting walls 18, 18 is provided at the lower center of the spacer bar 14, and this second horizontal wall η is connected to the water shielding portion 15.
It is formed on the same plane as the horizontal wall 16 of the joint part 10.
This makes it possible to fill the gap 13 formed between the two.

The spacer bar 14 interposed between the back door panel 3 and the back door glass 2 in this way covers the lower end surface 9 of the back door glass 2 with the horizontal wall 16 of the water shielding part 15, and also covers the lower end surface 9 of the back door glass 2 with the vertical wall 17. Both sides of the bulge 70 f! : Since it is covered, the joint 10 between the back door panel 3 and the back door glass 2 is completely shielded from the outside. Further, a second horizontal wall η is fitted into the gap 13 of the joint portion 10 . Note that the weather strip 12 as a sealing member is attached to the joint portion 1.
The positions where 0 is crossed are both ends of the bulge 70, as in the conventional case.

Therefore, if the vicinity of the joint j'iIs 10 is directly hit by water spray during car washing, the horizontal wall 16 and the vertical wall 1 of the water shielding part 15 will be damaged.
7 completely blocks the water from entering the joint 10 and the water flows to the outside along the vertical wall 17, so that water does not enter the joint 10. Further, in this embodiment, a gap 13 formed in the joint portion 10
Since it is closed by the second horizontal wall 22, the water-blocking effect is further improved, and it is possible to reliably prevent water from entering the vehicle interior through the joint 10.
