An object of the present invention is to inexpensively manufacture a reinforced plastic product that can always express extremely clear printed patterns without the fear that the printed patterns will be easily peeled off or damaged.

。As is well known, when printing various patterns (including photos, letters, symbols, etc.) on the surface of reinforced plastic products such as bathtubs and boats, commonly referred to as FRP, screen printing is generally used as the printing method. This method is most commonly used, but since the patterns printed using this method are printed with oil-based ink on the top surface of the decorative film layer, which does not have good ink adsorption properties, there is a risk of ink being deposited on the surface of the product. Not only is it inconvenient and difficult to obtain a clear printed pattern, but since the pattern is printed with the ink layer raised on the top surface of the decorative film layer, the printed pattern peels off or gets damaged and disappears within a relatively short period of time. There was a problem with the durability of the printed pattern.

The clarity and durability of the printed pattern is improved by printing the desired pattern on the surface of the mold in advance, front side down, and then transferring it to the product being molded when applying the decorative film layer. The invention was devised to provide a reinforced plastic product with a print pattern that is significantly improved and completely ideal in all respects.

When manufacturing a reinforced plastic product F having the following properties, first, polyvinyl alcohol or oil-based, silicone-based wax, etc. is applied thinly and uniformly to the surface of the mold 1 as a mold release agent 2, as shown in Figure 3A. Prior to forming the next decorative coating layer 7, a pattern P as shown in FIG. 3 is printed on the surface of the mold 1 by screen printing.

Using screen printing ink such as epoxy-based ink with good film stability, while scraping the ink 4 poured onto the top surface of the screen 3 with a squeegee 5,
The original pattern P is printed on the surface of the mold 1 with the front and back sides reversed. Next, a gel coat resin liquid made by adding and mixing a desired coloring agent (pigment or dye) to a polyester resin is applied to the surface of the mold 1 so as to cover the upper surface of the ink layer 6 of the printed pattern P, as shown in FIG. As shown in C, the first layer is placed on the surface of the mold 1.
After forming the decorative film layer 7 of a predetermined thickness as a layer, glass fiber is further bonded to the upper surface of the layer 7 and coated with a translucent polyester resin liquid, and this coating and hardening process is repeated several times to form a second layer. The reinforcing layer 8 is formed by subsequent lamination processing as shown in FIG. 3 2, and after the resin of the reinforcing layer 8 is cured, the finished product F is removed from the mold 1 as shown in FIG. 3 E. It is possible to manufacture a product F having a printed pattern P as shown in Figure 2. At this time, the pattern P that was originally printed upside down on the surface of the mold 1 is transferred to the surface of the product F. Appear in a normal state.

な貢献を成すものである。As described above, according to the method of the present invention, it is possible to manufacture a reinforced plastic product F having a desired printed pattern P on the surface by an extremely simple manufacturing process, and the pattern P printed on the surface of the product F can be Unlike the pattern P' of the conventional product F' shown in FIG. 1, the ink layer 6 of the pattern P is not printed in a raised state on the surface of the decorative film layer 7' as shown in FIG. Since the printing is embedded in the surface layer of the layer 7, the adhesion of the printing ink layer 6 to the decorative film layer 7 is strong and the pattern shape is stable. Therefore, the printed pattern P on the surface of the product F is There is no risk of peeling or damage easily, and extremely clear and beautiful printed patterns P can always be expressed, so if this is applied to the production of reinforced plastic products,
Coupled with the fact that the processing costs are low, this makes a great contribution to the development of this industry.
