CONSTITUTION:A workpiece 10 having a dummy shaft 11 roughly inserted is transported on a tact base 12 by a tact hook (not shown in the figure). A centering rod 14 is lowered to hold the shaft 11 coaxially into the workpiece 10. Then, a push rod 13 is lowered and the needle 20 in an annular slit 17 is press-fitted into an annular slit 21. The assembled workpiece 10 is transported to the next process position on the tact base 12 by the tact hook.
