【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は昇降式海上作業台の脚の接合方法に関するも
のてある。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for joining legs of an elevating offshore work platform.
昇降式海上作業台は沖合て脚を立てて本体を支えるも

従来、脚は建造場所で完全に仕上けて本体に組込んでお
き、そして本体をして現地まで曳航する方式がとられて
いた。ところが、現地への曳航途中で架橋された海峡が
あると、脚の高さや水深の制限にひつかかり、脚の切断
を余儀なくされる場合がある。このような場合には海峡
通過後、現地にて接合される。そのため最近では、脚を
あらかじめ切離して建造しておき、そして別途輸送した
脚上部を現地にて接合する方式が考えられている。この
場合に脚上部の持上げはフローティングクレーンあるい
は昇降式海上作業台自体のクレーンを利用して行なつて
いた。すなわち脚のカット量が少量で長尺の脚上部を取
扱うときにはフローティングクレーンが使用されるが、
この場合、脚上部の重量および高さの都合から巨大な
フローティングクレーンが必要になつてくる。また脚の
カット量が大量で短尺の脚上部を取扱うときには昇降式
海上作業台自体のクレーンが使用されるが、この場合に
は脚上部がこま切れ状であることから接続作業(溶接箇
所)が大幅に増加し、接続費用は巨額のものとなる。
本発明は上記問題点を解決し得る昇降式海上作業台の脚
の接合方法を提供するものであつて、その特徴とすると
ころは、脚上部の配設した昇降式海上作業台と脚下部と
を別個に所定場所まで運搬し、脚下部を水没させ、海上
作業台をその脚下部の上方へもたらし、脚下部の上部に
連結した浮体付きロープをレグウエルを介して海上作業
台上に巻き上けて脚下部の上端をレグウエル内に嵌入さ
せ、該脚下部の上端を脚上部の下端に連結させ、脚上部
および脚下部を引き上け、海上作業台上で脚上部と脚下

The present invention provides a method for joining the legs of an elevating offshore work platform that can solve the above-mentioned problems. 2上の複数箇所に配設されたジャッキハウス3と、下部
が該ジャッキハウス3内のジャッキ装置(図示せず)に
支持された脚上部4とから構成されている。6は脚下部
7を運搬するバージ、8は脚下部7に配設された浮体で
あつて、脚下部7を海上へ投入すると、この脚下部7の
重量に負けて、この脚下部7の水没を許容するが、水中
における脚下部7の水中荷重をきわめて小さくし、かつ

の本体2が運搬船5上に載置され、そして上昇した脚上

現地まて運搬される。そして現地に到着したのち、バー
ジ6から脚下部7を海上へ降ろすと、この脚下部9は水
没して着底し、浮体8によつて直立させられる。また運
搬船5を水没させて本体2を浮遊させ、次いで運搬船5
を引き抜くがj如く航行させる。次に第2図に示すごと
く海上作業台1を脚下部7の上方へ移動させ、フィ12
,15どうしを互いに連結する。次にウインチ装置を作
動させて吊上げワイヤ13を巻き上げ、ペンダントワイ
ヤ9をレグウエル14内に引き込む。次に各ペンダント
ワイヤ9の一端を芯合せ治具16の貫通穴18および各
レグパイプ17内に通して海上作業台1の上へ引き上げ
、ウインチ装置の巻取ドラムに巻回する。次にそのウイ
ンチ装置を作動させると、ペンダントワイヤ9を介して
脚下部7が引き上げられ、第4図仮想線で示すごとくa
各レグパイプ10の上端が各芯合せ治具16に嵌合し、
オートロック装置により脚下部7と脚上部4とは互いに
連結される。次にジャッキ装置によりラック19を介し
て脚上部4および脚下部7を引き上げ、脚下部4と脚下
部7との連結部を溶接すればよい。以上述べたごとく本
発明の昇降式海上作業台の脚の接合方法によれば、脚は
二分割でこま切れでないことから接合作業は安価に行な
うことができ、しかも水没させた脚下部を引き上げてそ
の上端をレグウエル内に嵌入させ、該脚下部の上端を脚
上部の下端に連結させるものであるから、クレーンを使
用することなく脚下部と脚上部とを接合させることがで
