Claims (1)
カムの回転によって揺動して他端に作動的に連結された
、吸気または排気のバルブを開閉動作させるロッカアー
ム本体と、このロッカアーム本体のいずれか一端に形成
されたガイド孔内に挿入配置された、円筒部と該円筒部
の上端を施蓋する蓋部とからなるガイド部材と、このガ
イド部材の内部に、その軸方向に摺動可能に挿入配置さ
れた有底円筒状のプランジャと、このプランジャの内部
を第１油室と第２油室との二室に隔成すべく、該プラン
ジャの内部に嵌挿配置されたチェックバルブシートと、
前記第１油室から第２油室に向う作動油の流通のみを許
容すべく、前記チェックバルブシートに形成された通孔
近傍に設けたチェックバルブと、前記プランジャの底部
と前記チェックバルブシートとを互いに離間する方向に
弾発付勢し該バルブシートの上部を前記ガイド部材の蓋
部に当接せしめるべく、前記第２油室内に収容配置され
たリターンスプリングとを備え、前記ロッカアーム本体
には、一端が作動油の供給ポンプに連通し、他端が前記
ガイド孔に開口する油導入通路が設けられ、前記ガイド
部材の円筒部には、前記油導入通路から供給された作動
油を前記第１油室内に導く油導入孔が設けられているラ
ッシュ調整可能なバルブロッカアームにおいて、前記ガ
イド部材の下端に形成されたフランジ部と該フランジ部
が当接する前記ロッカアーム本体側の当接部との間に、
前記ガイド部材の円周方向の回動を防止する回動防止手
段を設けるとともに、前記ガイド部材の円筒部の肉厚を
略均等に形成したことを特徴とする、ラッシュ調整可能
