Claims

(1) In a heat pump air conditioner configured by sequentially connecting a compressor, a four-way valve, an indoor heat exchanger, a pressure reducing device, and an outdoor heat exchanger through a refrigerant path, the pressure reducing device is connected in parallel with the pressure reducing device. A bypass passage equipped with an on-off valve is installed in the bypass passage, and the on-off valve in this bypass passage is opened for a predetermined time at the start and end of defrosting operation, and after the on-off valve is operated, the four-way valve is opened. A heat pump type air conditioner characterized by being provided with a control means for controlling switching between a frost operation side and a return side.
