Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure a constant pitch even with a thick magnetic disk and at the same time to prevent the deterioration of the mechanical rigidity, by forming cut grooves with a shift at the upper and lower sides of each tip part of a head arm, fixing the rear edge part of a head supporting tool to each groove and also fixing a head to the tip part of each supporting tool. CONSTITUTION:Cut grooves 5a and 5b are set with a shift at the upper and lower sides of a head arm 5, and the rear edge part of each head supporting tool 4 is attached to each cut groove. A head 3 is fixed to the tip part of each tool 4. In such a constitution, the disk pitch is not increased even with use of a thick magnetic disk. Furthermore no deterioration is given to the mechanical rigidity of the arm 5. This gives no limitation to the length of a screw for attachment of the tool 4.

ャリッジ(6)を駆動するリニアモータである。(8)
はスピンドル(2)、キャリッジ(6)、リニアモータ
(7)を支持するペースである。
