Abstract

PURPOSE:To inexpensively prepare a facing paper, by a method wherein the fine embossed pattern and smooth surface of a matrix are transferred on a cured resin and a character, a mark or a color is printed to a base film from the back surface thereof in matching relation to the transferred pattern by screen printing. CONSTITUTION:Releasing treatment is applied to the surface of a matrix 1 having fine embossed patterns 11A and partial smooth surfaces 12A on the surface thereof and a photosensitive resin 2A is applied to the treated surface of said matrix 1 while a base film 3 is laminated to the resin which is, in turn, exposed through said film 3 to be cured before the matrix 1 is released. After the fine embossed patterns 11A and the smooth surfaces 12A of the matrix 1 are transferred to the cured resin 2B as mentioned above, a character, a mark or a color is printed on said base film 3 from the back surface thereof in matching relation to the transferred patterns by screen printing. By this method, a facing paper provided with a picture pattern, which has the fine embossed patterns and the smooth surfaces corresponding to the matrix in combination, and having printing 4 on the back surface thereof can be formed.

従来、平滑面だけでは意匠感が不足するというときは、
ヘアライン加工やマット加工を施して微細な凹凸を形成
したものをフェースシートに用いていたが、単一の模様
ではフェースシートの図柄が単調で、なお満足できない
。 機能の面からも、模様が微細化すると、全面が同一の図
柄ではタッチミスが多くなったり、目視でキーを判別す
るのが困難になるといった不都合が生じてくる。 従って、微細な凹凸と平滑な部分とを組み合わせて有す
る図柄のフェースシートを、それも低コストで供給する
ことが要望されていた。

る基材を組み合わせて用い、これらを平滑面とともに有
する図柄を形成することもできる。 この場合には、感
光性樹脂を用いて母型を複製して使用することが推奨さ
れる。 発明の効果 本発明の方法によれば、印刷に加えて1種または2種以
上の微細な凹凸模様と平滑面とを有する図柄をもったフ
ェースシートが、廉価に量産できる。 従って、とくに
小型のキー人力装置やコントロール装置のフェースを意
匠感豊かにするとともに、その機能の向上にも役立ち、
商品価値を高めることができる。
