Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain data transfer without limiting the arrangement of a personal computer and an I/O device and complexing cables by forming data transfer devices for the personal computer. CONSTITUTION:The data transfer device 4 for the personal computer 1 transfers data from a joy stick 2 which is an input apparatus to the personal computer 1 and has an FM data transmitting unit 4a and an FM data receiving unit 4b. A digital signal outputted from the joy stick 2 is inputted to the unit 4a, FM-modulated and sent to the unit 4b. The signal is demodulated by the unit 4b and its digital signal is inputted and processed to/by the computer 1. An output from the computer 1 to a printer 3 is similarly processed through a data transfer device 5. Consequently, respective apparatuses can be arranged on separated positions within an FM signal receivable range by forming these data transfer devices 4, 5, so that the limitation of the arrangement of respective apparatuses or the complexity of cables can be removed.
