Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of assembly of sheets, by providing sheet bearers at the reverse sides of the sheets conveyed on a conveyor wherein plural belts are laid round, and by dividing the sheet bearers into appropriate groups in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor and moving the groups up and down separately. CONSTITUTION:Under the conveyance surface of a conveyor 1 having plural belts wound on pulleys 2, 3, sheet bearers R are disposed as a roller conveyor in parallel with the belts 4. The sheet bearers R are divided into appropriate groups of equal length over the total length of the bearers. The groups of the sheet bearers R1-R14 can be moved up and down separately by cylinders C1- C14. An upper sheet bearer 5 like a roller conveyor is provided in such a manner that the bearer 5 faces the sheet bearers R across the sheet conveyance surface. The upper sheet bearer 5 is revolved together with a belt conveyor 6 thereby. Sheets S(S1, S2,...) are detected by detectors L1-L14. The operation of the cylinders C1-C14 is controlled depending on the result of the detection, so as to obtain an assembled body of prescribed length.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention feeds plate-shaped objects, particularly veneer veneers of a certain size, which have been cut and cut by a non-woven fabric, to a conveyor at irregular intervals, and the conveyor has a plate-shaped object receiver. By linking the drive body with the conveyor, the following plate-like object is quickly brought into close proximity to the preceding plate-like object by the conveyor, and then the drive body and the plate-like object receiver hold the object, and then the drive body rotates. is fed to the assembly conveyor by force,
This invention relates to an apparatus for assembling plate-like objects that can reliably bring together the V-shaped end faces and assemble them into a group of continuously arranged plate-like objects during feeding.

Conventionally, this type of work has mainly been carried out by manually assembling and inserting individual plate-like objects stacked irregularly overlapping each other into a group of continuously arranged plate-like objects each time they are fed to a post-processing machine. However, manual work is not only inefficient and has a limited processing capacity, but also tends to cause adjacent plate-like objects to overlap during insertion, causing the gap to widen, resulting in insufficient drying of the overlapped parts in the post-processing machine, and a decrease in the filling rate. It was the cause of things like this.

Conventional equipment, which does not require manual labor, transports and stops the preceding plate-like objects using a clutch brake, and then gathers the following plate-like objects one after another to form a group of continuously arranged plate-like objects. The method was adopted.

However, variations occur when starting and stopping using the clutch brake, and as the conveyance speed is increased,
Variations tend to increase, and the impact force at the time of colliding also increases. Therefore, when used directly in accordance with the processing capacity of the front and rear process machines, the assembled plate-like materials have widening of intervals, overlapping, front and back Bent edges may occur, resulting in a decrease in yield and
The filling rate and work efficiency of post-process machines were significantly reduced.

In addition, the conveyance speed is limited to a low speed in order to reduce variations during starting and stopping F, alleviate the impact force at the time of collision, and prevent widening of the interval9, overlapping, bending, etc. This means that the processing capacity will be smaller, and if it is directly connected, it will reduce the processing capacity of the pre- and post-process machines.

The present invention eliminates the conventional inefficient manual work and directly connects the front and rear process machines, saving unnecessary manpower and maintenance/g space, improving the filling rate and work efficiency, and further improving the yield. low r
In order to prevent this, all of the following plate-like objects fed at irregular intervals are connected to the conveyor, which rotates at a high speed, by linking the plate-shaped object receiver with the drive unit, which rotates at a slower speed than the conveyor. Then, the plate-shaped object is held between the plate-like object holder and the driving body, and the driving body is rotated while the plate-like object is held quickly by the rotational force of the driving body, and is then held between the plate-like object holder and the driving body. Supplied to the assembly conveyor, which is rotated at a lower speed than the driving body by force (-1) During transportation, due to the difference in speed between the driving body and the assembly conveyor, the conveyors overlap, ensuring that they are brought together while eliminating bends, etc., and arranged in a continuous manner. It is constructed so that it can be assembled into a group of plate-like objects.

As described above, according to the present invention, the upper plate-shaped object holder rotated at low speed is linked to the conveyor that rotates at high speed, and the plate-shaped object holder is divided into groups as appropriate, and each of the plate-shaped object holders is divided into groups. In addition to connecting to each fluid cylinder, a plate-like object detector is arranged at the same interval as the fluid cylinder, and detects plate-like objects sequentially from the end according to the arrangement order, and is placed on the back side of each plate-like object. The plate-like object is transported at high speed to the adjacent plate-like object detector, and the upper plate-like object receiver and the plate-like object are kept close to each other by the respective fluid cylinders placed below the plate-like object. The upper plate-like object holder is held in the V-holder and supplied to the assembly conveyor by the rotational force of the upper plate-like object holder, which is rotated at a low speed. By sequentially aligning end faces while eliminating bends, it is possible to quickly and reliably assemble a group of plate-like objects arranged in a continuous manner.

Therefore, the work of once compiling and storing the assembled plate-like materials is completely eliminated, and furthermore, the work of assembling the assembled plates while eliminating the widening of gaps, overlapping, bending, etc. that occur when directly connected to front and rear processing machines is eliminated. This not only saves extra manpower and storage space, but also improves work efficiency and filling rate, and prevents a decrease in yield.
