i-1 The pattern-revealing weft used for weaving kasuri weaving and marbled fabrics is dyed in spots in the necessary areas, and then inserted into the weft, resulting in the accumulation of the spotted areas of adjacent wefts, resulting in kasuri and marbled fabrics. Conventionally, this kind of spotty dyeing of weft threads has been done by dyeing the weft yarn using a type of mechanical partial resist dyeing such as board tightening, or by printing the pattern with a letterpress-type printing roller. It depends on the printing method used for printing, and the former conventional method is a handicraft process like that seen in Oshima Tsumugi, so the productivity is extremely low, while the latter conventional method is printing is done on the recognition, and the amount of yarn is limited. There are restrictions, and since printing is done in batches, productivity is not necessarily good. In addition, the reason why resist dyeing and printing are applied is that the position of the resist dyeing and printing parts can only be roughly controlled in the length direction of the thread, and therefore the sequential technique, that is, the desired The pattern is made as much as possible by slitting the patterned original fabric into narrow widths and inserting the resulting flat threads in a predetermined order to reproduce the original pattern on the fabric. It does not go so far as to guarantee that the shape will appear exactly as imagined without collapsing.

The method for spot-dying weft yarns for pattern appearance according to the present invention involves arranging a large number of raw yarns in a sheet shape at a regular pitch and maintaining the parallel state, and fabric weaving in the length direction of the raw yarns. width(
A printing roller or a printing screen having a printing means at a position corresponding to the horizontal center line of one span or on the symmetrical horizontal axis of adjacent spans, where the equivalent length (weft insertion width) is one span. In this method, printing is performed on the parallel bodies of raw yarns under the above-mentioned predetermined parallelism, and the printing roller or printing screen is applied to the raw yarns by a distance corresponding to the parallel weft insertion pitch of the yarns, and the raw yarn length of the above-mentioned span is applied. The yarn is sequentially shifted to one side in the parallel direction of the yarn, and when it reaches an appropriate number of spans, it is printed on the opposite side with the same pitch. The yarn is held in the predetermined parallel state by temporarily attaching the raw yarn to a mount or belt using an adhesive so that it can be peeled off, and the printed yarn is subjected to necessary post-treatments such as steaming and washing with water.

11 - 11 In the present invention, a printing pattern is applied to the raw yarn by arranging a large number of raw yarns in a sheet shape at a regular pitch and holding them, and using a printing roller having a printing means at the required part. Alternatively, by using a screen, the roller or screen is regularly displaced by a predetermined amount in the desired direction at the required time with respect to the parallel body of yarn, so that the length and number of parallel yarns are significantly increased. It is possible to perform mechanical printing in a manner similar to that of conventional methods, and is superior in productivity compared to conventional methods.

Further, according to the construction of the printed pattern of the present invention, the printed pattern is arranged on the horizontal center line of each span of the parallel body of yarn, or on the horizontal axis line that is symmetrical between adjacent spans.
In other words, the pattern can be applied to the raw yarn while the pattern elements are correctly positioned at the required locations, and therefore, the mottled dyed weft yarn obtained by the present invention has a good shape that is comparable to that obtained by the sequential drawing technique. It is guaranteed that a unique pattern will be revealed.

suitable for revealing. In this example, the pattern (a) is based on partial patterns (1), (2), and (3), which are pattern constituent elements in the weft thread...For convenience of understanding the basic principle of manifestation, the pattern is treated as a type of pattern. At the same time, the pattern (A) is divided into three parts, that is, the pattern (A) is made into a woven fabric (A) by inserting the weft three times.
-1) It is shown as falling on top, and the thread is shown in enlarged form. The same applies to other examples of printing patterns to be described later (however, the pattern in FIG. 11 is shown as a number of quarters).

In Fig. 1, (10) is a raw yarn, a large number of which are lined up in a sheet shape at a constant dense pitch, and the parallel yarn body is fed by a roller to form a long strip-shaped mount or It is temporarily attached to the endless belt in a releasable manner using an adhesive, and the above-mentioned sheet-like parallel state is maintained. The alignment of the raw yarns is carried out in the same manner as the sheet alignment in the sizing process using a slasher sizing machine, which is one of the weaving preparation processes, or the warp alignment in a loom. The yarn parallel body may be temporarily attached to the starting end. When using a mount to temporarily attach the yarn parallel bodies, the surface may be temporarily pasted by pressing down with an inert pressure roller against the temporary pasting adhesive, and the 112 yarn parallel bodies are temporarily pasted. The belt may be similar to the conventionally known auto screen used for printing on fabrics or the endless belt used to temporarily attach printed fabrics in rotary screen type multicolor pattern printing machines. Temporary pasting can also be carried out in the same manner as in the printing machine. Before the endless belt returns to the temporary pasting step, the temporary pasting adhesive adhering to the belt is washed and removed by the same method as for the endless belt for temporary pasting in the printing machine.

Raw yarn (10) temporarily attached to a mount or endless belt in a predetermined parallel state... one span of length equivalent to the textile weaving width (II insertion width (a)) in the direction of the length of the parallel body As (a'), a pattern (a')... is printed on a portion corresponding to the horizontal center line of one span using a printing roller or a rotary screen having a printing means, and at this time, the pattern (a')... The printing roller or rotary screen is placed on one side of the yarn (10) in the longitudinal direction of the yarn of span (a') for the weft insertion pitch in step 1). I let it go,
This is the appropriate number of spans, generally the number obtained by dividing the dimension of the pattern (A) appearing on the fabric (A-1) in the fabric length direction (vertical direction in Figure 2) by the weft pitch of the weft yarns, In other words, the number of spans is greater than or equal to the number of divisions of the pattern (A), for example, the pattern (A).
If (b) is divided into three parts and the number of spans exceeds 8, the material is shifted to the opposite side in the same manner, and then regularly shifted to the left and right by an amount equivalent to the weft insertion pitch.

(Fig. 6), and for the latter four, the yarns may be joined in a similar manner (Figs. 7 and 8) and used for weft insertion. Note that although Figures 5, 6, 7, and 8 are shown separately due to paper size, Figures 5 and 6 are similar to Figures 7 and 8. Follow each other in series. The continuity of FIGS. 5 and 6 and the continuity of FIGS. 7 and 8 are such that the span at the end of FIG. 5 (indicated by a chain line) corresponds to the span at the start of FIG. The connections between Figures 8 and 8 are similar. For these group connectors, the portions corresponding to the lower portions of the overlapping joints may be removed.

The yarn connectors having the connection modes shown in FIGS. 3, 5, and 6 may be inserted so that the partial patterns are lined up in the order of their arithmetic codes, or vice versa. The thread connection body having the connection mode shown in FIG. 8 may also be wefted in the same manner. In Figures 4, 7 and 8, the fabric (A-1
) The partial pattern (3) or (1) corresponding to the initial pattern element in the pattern (A) above does not correspond to the pattern (A) in orientation, so strictly speaking The revealed pattern does not match that of the yarn, and the pattern is distorted, but in reality, as is well known, threads are thin, so such pattern distortion is almost invisible to the naked eye.

Pattern (I'), (mouth'), (8'), (2'), (ho'
), (f') is printed using a printing roller or rotary screen, the rotation, that is, the amount of mechanical displacement, is quantized electrically or electronically (generally, it can be converted into pulses). , the transmitter sends a signal to the counter, and based on the predetermined count, it is sufficient to determine and control the timing for lateral deviation in the parallel direction of the printing roller or rotary screen yarn (10). The lateral displacement of the screen can be performed by a suitable feeding means, for example, a feeding means corresponding to an elongated version of a spiral gear for adjusting the position of a printing roller in a general roller printing machine.
